Season of Mist has always been known for being an innovative and wide spectrum label, interested in exploring and developing new artists and bands. The label represents well-known acts such as ABBATH, SÓLSTAFIR and HEILUNG, as well as rising stars in extreme metal like THE GREAT OLD ONES, GAEREA, ARCHSPIRE and CARACH ANGREN.
Gaerea comments: "A terrifying, fascinating and magnificent mystery of how, between all forms of random life, we were the chosen ones to suffer, to carry a burden we never truly recognize as our own to keep and die for. An ultimate poem of how life dances an endless "Valsa" with death, unmasked, falling in love for their creations as the floor is made out of bone fragments."

It may sound trite, but I was really into black metal for a long time, 1990s - 2010. Maybe I got tired of it. Maybe it just got mundane or, worst of all, normal. Gaerea is bringing me back to the beauty and the power. Thank you.

Now, I can see the beauty, the art and the amazing mesmerizing vocals. I didn't even dig into the lyrics yet, wanting to imagine and make up my own stories of what their songs are about, then I'll jump into the lyrics.. guys goddammit your good
Something about the atmosphere Gaerea creates when they perform touches the darkest part of my soul, the pain I've carried within my heart throughout my years on this earth, the loss, the pain, the love, the hate all of it finds a voice through their music, I will forever love this band.

Gaerea just never fucking misses. It's actually insane how their entire discography is exclusively amazing music.
I'm glad that I live in the same day and age as this band...
Gaerea is one of those bands where each part on its own is incredibly talented, but are melded together in such an expert way that the final product is certainly more than the mere sum of the parts, despite of how tired that saying is. What a wonderful and unique band.
Only complaint about this song that is too short. Magnificent melancholic atmosphere
It's really remarkable how Gaerea manage to capture this sound of pure desperation. I am so looking forward to this album, two songs and already AOTY contender.

The music video shows us how we all have to go through the exposition-conflict-resolution dynamic in our lives. All the musicians who have gone through that play for the vocalist, who, trapped in the plastic sheet representing a knot, sings with an aura of suffering and overcoming. Simply amazing
I was in their show this year in Brazil. it was the best live performance i have seen in my whole life.
The presence, the brutality, the art conception, the music flawlessness... everything was there. Absolute perfection.

So glad to have discovered Gaerea with "Limbo" and gone backwards through their catalog. Every album is stellar and this one will just catapult them to a whole new tier. I wish Season Of Mist would re-release their first two albums.
