I don’t know if it is different from my 2004 but if you pull the release knob again once the seat back locks in its forward position you can push it down further to get almost completely flat. It squishes the seat back cushion but I don’t know if it actually causes any damage to it.

Thanks brother I was out there for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get those seats down but for some reason when I pull those little tabs the bottom isn't flipping up I'm going to have to go fight with it but thank you very much for making this video
