Was a bit disappointed that the RTX render performance wasn't upgraded. D5 renders still blow away Chief. It would be wonderful to have a D5 or similar quality render ability built into Chief. I see they did add more texture controls. SO, maybe we'll see an updated texture pack. Although, I'm not sure we'll get the point and click ease of D5 high quality renders. Not all of us are doing super detailed floor plans and sectionals! Some use Chief to increase sales and speed up the process of creating presentation. Not a single improvement in Cabinet Wizard tools either??? It's like Chief just walked away from that tool and left as is! Was so hoping for a major improvement in the cabinet tools. New cabinet shapes. Beaded Inset. Just a few more common industry standards that have gone overlooked. Cabinet door creation wizard would have been really useful for manufacturers and end users. Love Chief, but disappointed again by lack of attention to the cabinet world.

Man I couldn't disagree more about your comment on rendering in X16. but we will showcase some of that in upcoming shows :)
You can do beaded insets, thats just a custom door, though I agree it could be easier if we had some kind of dedicated face frame tool.
I'd say put the suggestion in for polyline based cabinets.
cabinet door creation tool = custom countertop tool with a molding :)

@rabbittdesign8482 Well, I am a follower of your releases and spend $ on your add ons. Sure, show me how u can 'easily ' produce D 5 level render quality in Chief. Won't hurt my feelings if you are right. 😀
Fyi, I create all my doors in Sketchup in a fraction of the time and they already have separate colors assigned for each part to create a much more realistic render. I copy that door and create 3 or 4 variations of assigned colors so you aren't just repeating the same texture over and over ;) Beaded inset, I end up making a special door, drawer symbol per door style. I have the beaded frame symbols from Mark over on the forum, but it's just overly complicated for the task at hand. Chief could certainly use some new features to keep us cabinet folk intrigued. 😉
