Nothing can beat Skoda's build, safety and quality in mid size sedan segment. 1.5 tsi is a sporty performer with low mileage. If skoda/vw group had continued their 1.8 and 2 litre TDI Diesel then no other brands can come close to TDI's performance and mileage. I'm using Rapid 1.6 TDI and Octavia 2 TDI both are ultimate in performance and the mileage is close to 20 to 21 kmpl. So we can say Skoda's Diesel will be more powerful and pocket friendly than the Tsi petrol.

Sir, I too own a skoda slavia 1.0 AT style variant. On road price in Chennai is 18.4 L. I’m getting a mileage of 11Kmpl in city. I have very few disadvantages after usage of one month.
1. Reverse parking camera quality is very poor with no dynamic guidelines.
2. Horn quality - not that older skoda horns we get in slavia. Skoda says that they have to comply with government norm so they have reduced the decibel levels.
3. Central locking button place on left side which become inaccessible to the driver.
4.Rear disc brakes missing.
5.Lane watch camera missing.
6.Steel pedals missing, which makes the car to fail in sportier look.
Compared to virtus. The looks are some what different. And I personally like slavia

Sir.. Skoda is known for driving .. 1 or 1.5 these are the best engine. I have kushaq 1 ltr but never felt low power. Can't compare with Tata engine

I had done test drive for slavia and virtus. But from my perspective both are same . No much difference. So I prefer Skoda in look wise. You said about seating comfort that is more in Wolkswagen too. In Wolkswagen mid varient is coming with manual AC. But in in Skoda it’s automatic. We can’t compare this with Tata or other brands as we all know how is the engine and build quality and safety.

slavia( base model 13.4L) is good bro but value for money honda city base model 13.75Lyou will get auto ac, reverse cam, defogger before they even gave alloy wheel for spare wheel now they changed. if you are a driving enthusiast go fr slavia else city is best with natural aspirated engine with good resale value compared to skoda. slavia price is some what on the higher side.
The best Sedan or any other car any day will ONLY be from German Engineering. Believe in that. When anyone buys automobiles, the first consideration MUST BE SAFTEY. The second consideration MUST BE SAFETY and the third consideration MUST also BE SAFETY. In that sense, GERMAN ENGINEERING is the unbeatable one. After considering safety, I would strongly advise anyone to choose the country which makes the best cars. Again, here Germany will stand first, and Sweden,(Volvo), Japan, USA, UK, India, France, Korea and lastly China (this always comes last in anything and everything and the order in Automobiles is also nothing different. In short, the German or Japanese cars are the best ones to be chosen from.

Bro yentha brand ah irunthalum 3 cyl oru mokka engine many brands are doing this just for cost cutting and by adding turbo to it for the power, after 50-60,000 KM run these cars will burn your pocket for maintenance it applicable for all the brands who ever makes this 3 cyl engine, better go for any NA 4 cyl petrol engine or go for the diesel, when you compare the maintenance exp of turbo petrol with the diesel, The diesel one's seems cheaper for me :)
