I disagree! They love showing just one type of bw, then generalizing most. Nowadays bw don’t even act like that, it’s the hispanic, latina, and white women that act like what you’re explaining. But nowadays they call that feisty / queens. Because so many people think like that, bw actually got more quiet and reserved, but ofc we barely see that portrayed on tv shows or whatever.

Ahhh you're in denial sweetie if you think on avg black women are more reserved than other races. A black older female right beside me laughing at the ridiculousness of your comment but you're a black woman on the defense so of course you'd reject any negative notion or facts pertaining to black women because as we know accountability isn't something many of you like to do

@@JAYLOVE47 You’re right on one thing that a lot of black women don’t like accountability, but the fact that you’re saying a lot bw are not becoming more reserved is bs. Just because one of the barbaric ones is next to you doesn’t mean anything since she’s old. The younger bw are becoming more reserved like the youtuber s Chrissie and etc. It’s hard since the City girls, Niki Minaj, and Stallion etc are setting us back, but things are slowly yet surely changing. 30 and younger. People like you are trying to keep the idea of bw being masculine and never changing. Smh.

Very interesting take but I feel as though this was a bit surface level. Firstly, we live in a western world , therefore the dominant race will always be considered the most attractive. White men specifically put their women on the pedestal of global representation and beauty standards. It also doesn't help that black men will bash black women publicly and say they aren't submissive. I agree that some black women are far too masculine in their behaviour and how they carry themselves, which is due to their upbringing in ghetto environments. The question to ask is why are African features considered masculine? Leading me to think it's a racist stereotype. Some Asian countries women have wide noses and big lips but why aren't those features masculine on them? Oh yh that's right it's because of their light skin! How the world views black women and their beauty was primarily negative due to racism and slavery etc. On top of that black man started to constantly berate black women in the public eye whilst putting other races of women above black women. A lot of the negative stereotypes towards black womens beauty comes from a lack of representation like you said dark skinned bw actresses are never cast in love interest roles in film and TV. They are either hypersexualised or playing the mammie role. At the same time rappers love to elevate other races of women except their own. This topic is very deep and there are a lot of layers as to why black women arent typically perceived as attractive and it would be great to elaborate more on.

@@optimisticrealismx5829 not all men have the same type. Everyone is different, just like us women have our types. I myself have broad African features & it has never stopped a man of any races attraction to me because I style myself in a way that suits my features. Even other women find me attractive. And I also don’t wear stringy European-esque hairstyles. I stick with black hairstyles (braids, faux locs, etc) Hair is literally your crown & can enhance or diminish your look & a lot of black women are wearing their crown in a way that diminishes their look. For instance, if you have a broad nose then you should wear curly/wavy/kinky hair because the straight hair will make your nose look bigger. This is the reason Oprah doesn’t wear her hair straight. Black ppl were given a certain hair type for a reason, because it’s what suits us best.

You know what I find crazy? People with lighter skinned saying they don't consider themselves a person of color. I think that's insane. If you're mixed, you're still a person of color, even if your skin is light. I'm mixed & my skin is brown. I don't consider someone who is also mixed different than me as far as being multicultural is concerned, just because their features are more European. 🤨 As an example, actress Priscilla Quintana referred to her skin as White & said she doesn't consider herself as a person of color, in an interview. She is Mexican & Native American, in addition to European, & her skin is light, but certainly not White. I think it's an issue of self-projection & preference.

Thanks for video nice work! Remember Black Americans can vary a lot phenotypically and a lot can have thinner features with looser hair. Many East Africans have those features as do some West Africans. A lot of Black Americans are of West African extract which might be associated with the broader features, but there are West African and West African descendant people with thinner features.
I'm a light skinned Black American man with thinner features and have been mistaken as Creole Black, Afro Latino, Middle Eastern etc... I have family members with grey, blue eyes with loose curly and wavy, straight hair that grows down the back and not into afro. Brown skinned women with exotic features get compared to Chili from TLC. My uncle would use a curly perm to have the afro look as he had hair like Elvis Presley. I have observed and or met brown and darkskinned Black folks with non stereotypical West African phenotypes/features.
I never understood why folks would say Floyd Mayweather is darkskinned. I always thought he was medium brownskinned definitely not the darkest cat out there. His uncles are/were dark skinned.
I always thought the colorism crap was and is stupid. Discrimination goes both ways. I hate when darkskinned Black people act as if colorism only affects them and that lightskinned Black people don't face prejudice and issues from other Black folks.
It is better to understand group economics and build versus playing into this evil, wicked system and being divided.
