We were on one of the first Royal Caribbean Odyssey of the Seas cruises out of the U.S. in 2021! JJ Cruise does a Full Odyssey of the Seas Jr. Suite Cabin Tour and Review. We had the incredible opportunity to climb aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Adventure of the Seas FIRST sailing out of Nassau, Bahamas on June 12th, 2021. We were also onboard the FIRST sailing out of the US on Celebrity Edge on June 26th, 2021. Celebrity Cruise Lines was the first major North American cruise line that sailed from a North American port since March 2020. We were also on the first Carnival cruise out of Florida on July 4th Carnival Horizon sailing. We were on the Inaugural Season Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship maiden voyage sailing on July 31st! We were on one of the first Disney Cruise Line ships sailing out of the US on Disney Dream on August 20th, 2021! We were on one of the first Alaska sailings in 2021 on Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas on August 27th, 2021! We are thrilled to be on these ships to bring you the latest cruise news and information about the future of the cruise industry in 2021.

In case you are not aware, but the Junior Suites have different configurations. I suspect this JS you feature in this video is a J4 or perhaps J1. There is also a J3 Junior Suite that offers 2 bathrooms as well. However, the main difference is both bathrooms have a toilet. So you have one bathroom as a true powder room and the other bathroom has a combo Tub Shower with a toilet.
You can also use a couple of magnets to hold the curtains closed.

I had this exact room last month, it's one of my favorite so far! Thought I'd point out a few small things that weren't mentioned.
There's a doorbell (not very useful, but fun to have lol). Under the vanity mirror, there's a toggle switch that lets you change the color temperature of the light to 3 different modes for it. Also, there is a USB port on the bedside phone, but it's not high amp so it won't charge anything very fast. You can also tug the curtains a smidge and it will close or open the rest of the way automatically.
Nice tour though! I made one also, but not nearly as in depth 😂
Okay, I had an ADHD moment at the very beginning and when you guys mentioned the bathrooms, I thought you were still outside! I was briefly very confused. :D
On the March 19 sailing and on deck 11, junior Suite. My 33 cruise and am as excited as my 1st cruise.

What size is the bed?
We’re sailing her in August 2022 and are on the wait list for a suite. My fingers are crossed but I’m not that hopeful. We are in a larger balcony so it will be fine either way. I can’t wait to spend 10 days on this fantastic ship. Thanks for great information.

I like the US electrical outlet instead of the USB, next to the bed for those who need to utilize a cpap to sleep.

Gorgeous room….. I bought on Amazon a cruise approved extension box which contains 3 outlets and 3 phone ports,,,,, I never sleep on a total black out room at home, so I welcome the bathroom night light,,,,,,, enjoy enjoy enjoy, you both bring delight with your videos……💙💙Brooklyn Howie 🏳️🌈

I’m staying in jr suite deck 12 cabin 234
I’m sold on that room. Ive got the time but not the coin for that. Beautiful. I was told when I was on the “new” Panorama that the reason they didn’t put outlets by the beds in new ships was because there were too many accidents/fires from curling irons, etc by people leaving them on by the bedding. That makes a little sense, but so NOT convenient. On our carnival balcony room we had just the outlets on the desk and two usb also. I like by my bed for my fan, phone etc by my bed. Grrrr.
Oh wow!! That is wild that people would take curling irons and plug them in by the bed. We definitely prefer an outlet on each side of the bed otherwise we have to put a cord through the pillows which is also not the safest 😂
@@JJCruise lol. Ik. We had cords all over the room. iPhone, ipad. Iwatch, personal fan, power banks……. I mean seriously. What is worse. Right? I was stepping and tripping over cords all week. Ha.

We were unable to do it on Odyssey, but that said - we have always been unsuccessful on every ship (even those that have the “capabilities”)

I have been on Odyssey and I believe the reason for not having outlets on both sides of the bed is the fact that if the beds are split into twins, the side table on one side moves to the middle. The only way they could have designed this is to have outlets on both sides and one in the middle. That design would have accommodated either bed configuration.

Junior suite about 4,000 per person quite expensive

The additional bathroom is not worth the expense in comparison to a balcony room.
I can’t with the blank blank coolers!!! How are we supposed to exist for 7 days and we can’t have anything to drink! 🤬🤬 It made a huuuuge part of our last cruise miserable not being able to have something to keep hydrated. If they’d allow us to bring coolers on…it’d be ghetto but we could live with it.
Collapsible coolers. We’re gonna sneak some in. Yeah. 🎉 I just came up with my own solution. 😂
97% of Disney Cruise Line ship rooms have the toilet and sink room and separate shower/tub room. So that's not very unique necessarily.
Oh we know Disney has it, but very unique for Royal Caribbean 🙌🏽
@@JJCruise You'd think that and plentiful outlets would be a standard even with refurbished ships. Though from what I understand people just go to to gym for good showers instead of room, especially if with 2-4 people.

@@JJCruise Bigger than most houses showers, so that's not normal sized for cruise cabin. Really only true upgrade I see in that junior suite TBH.
@@seaitwithphil Am I weird that when booking travel I get cheapest place to stay/sleep since that's where I'll be the least? Since I'm be out and seeing other things for the most part as purpose of trip.
The paid movies must be something new. They were free pre covid. Guess this is how they make money for less clients on board. Rather do all inclusive lines. None of the Nickle and diming you out of an extra 1000+. But I would not be shocked to see pay per view movies become the norm on all ships. Just download your own to your device before you leave so you can have something to watch.
