Also, strings can also have a HUGE effect on how your guitar sounds too. Make sure you have good strings and even a semi crappy acoustic can sound good.

That's a PRS SE Angelus, but I am not 100% sure which specific SE Angelus it is. There are a few different models... I think it *might* be the Alex Lifeson model, but I am not 100% sure.

Also, strings can also have a HUGE effect on how your guitar sounds too. Make sure you have good strings and even a semi crappy acoustic can sound good.

Does this rapid-fire, percussive strumming style have a name? I love this style - makes me think of The Stooges, Sex Pistols, Placebo, etc.
I think it's just downpicking. The direction you strum makes a big difference in how the chords sound. :-)
