It's insane to me, especially as a Levia player, how absurd Zen's kit just allows him to vomit damage, despite an egregious misplay. No offense to you, very appreciative of your daily content.
I'm personally just....tilted does not even begin to describe my feelings playing into Zen. They can miss play every hand and still be enabled to win. It's ridiculous.

No offense taken! FWIW I agree with you: Zen is overtuned and needs an adjustment, and preferably something more substantial than a Stride ban.
The HVY meta was so good! The BDIF (Kayo) was only a few percentage points above the next best deck and very targetable. If Savage Sash had never been released and MST didn't have Zen, this meta would be great. Instead we have a BDIF many points above anything else and that warps the entire meta around it. I really truly dislike Zen and hope he gets big bans.

@@Lupinefiasco I agree wholeheartedly. I think LSS is likely thinking about this in a way that is restrictive to their own design paradigm. You can absolutely hit Zen without destroying the set and class as collateral damage. I think it could be as simple as AoW being unable to target ephemeral cards and making Bonds of Ancestry a Katsu specialization. Those two hits alone would go a long way to bringing Zen in line without forcing their hand in any other direction. He would remain strong, but not nearly as unbalanced. The current state of Zen simply can't be targeted, even through strung disruption, when two card hands can still translate to double digit damage of a single chi card. My decks have warped so significantly just to attempt a response, but still can't hope to have the consistency to compete anymore. It's frustrating as hell.
