Los Pirineos son 150 km de ancho y los Alpes 200 km. No te puedes fiar de esa parte de Andorra porque está Justo en medio de los Pirineos debido al espacio que creo un glaciar. 😊

Wonderful to see a video from The Pyrenees mountains. Drove here once in the other direction, but filmed just until Puigcerda, as it got dark afterwards, towards Perpignan. Thanks for the video, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

étant de la région et connaissant votre itinéraire je me demande pourquoi vous n inscrivez pas les noms des villages que vous traversez pensez aux touristes qui ne connaissent pas la région j ' ajoute que pour aller au Pas de le Case via l ' Andorre on passe par Bourg-Madame il y a plusieurs itinéraires

Why are some mountains (actually most of them) so barren while others are full of forests.

@@andrex3954 Well, could be but it is strange that mountains on the left side (especially while still in France) are full of trees (and not all of them) while the right side is practically bare. Was wondering if this had to do with harvesting trees in the old days before effects of deforestation were recognized.

@@cestmoi1262 Possibly. But there is a possibility of overgrazing by herds of domesticated animals over the centuries. Besides, the altitude of the route, passes through a mountain range and is quite high I think... At 1700 meters above sea level, the vegetation is significantly reduced to non-existence at very high altitudes. These meadows without trees are also called alpine tundra and they are identical for the animal herds.

@@andrex3954 Overgrazing is a possibility, however, wouldn't existing trees survive? Besides, the "bare" mountains seem to have grass growing on them, though dry (because of it being late in the seaon)? The mountains with trees are just as high as those without. So to me this remains to be an unanswered question.
