Looking at your last name I think we are related,as my grandfather was a Sierra Leonian who relocated to Liberia in the 1930tys got married to a Liberian,and they had their kids. And then me n my siblings came along🇱🇷🇱🇷👍🏾👍🏾..I have the same last name,with relatives in Sierra Leone..

The airport is dope and there is no doubt about that. However, the airport is not the only thing you have to consider when you talk about fast growth and development because there are other aspects that are needed to be considered as well but the Liberian Government is on the right track(fixing the airport ) and good airports foster economic growth. Great job Liberian Government!!

A small correction. The airport terminal before 1977 look like that. A new , more modern and larger terminal was built and opened in 1979 just in time for the OAU. That terminal was destroyed with bombing by Ecomog planes when the NPFL captured it and was using it as a base. A flat-top, smaller one was built and was used by the UN and international service. Finally this new one was built. Just alittle correction. But you're doing excellent for a first time visitor.
Have very fond memories of Liberia. Remember that flat roof airport very well was one of my layover destination when I was flying in Pan American airlines. Can atest to Trudy saying that Liberians are very helpful and very warm people. Missed them big time. Love the new airport hopefully will get a chance to visit Liberia again. God bless Liberia ❤️

@@diskitube that tells.you Liberia civil war end a long time. I was born 1999 and Liberia civil war ended 2003. I live with my father in Liberia all those years when I was in Liberia and I didn't hear no gun sound. The civil war occurred mostly in Monrovia. And I was not born in Monrovia, I was born in Margibi so therefore I didn't experience the civil war.
