Hey guys! Thanks so much for all of your support! I'm seeing a lot of questions about what level we are in. (It's in the title) we are in Xcel diamond. I know people ask what that is in number levels, but I hate giving an answer to that, because whenever I give a range of levels people always disagree. So if you want to know more about it you can look up all of the requirements (which Ciera and I both are capable of fulfilling on every event, even if it looks like there are harder skills we can be doing). We made a whole video about our level on TC2Extras, the beauty of Xcel is that routines can look so different and still fill the same requirements. Most of our events you have to fulfill 2 Bs and 5 As, but obviously it's more specific in the requirements.
TheCheernastics2 hi Megan and Ciera, can you also explain what all around means? I'm from Costa Rica and I'm not a gymnast so I'm not familiarized with the term :) thanks! And love your channel!
All around means the total of all the events you competed combined for ladies its (bars ,beam, vault and floor)
Simply Gretsky Backup but only one person in the whole competition will get the award? Or one person for each team?

Madison there are 5 levels: bronze silver gold platinum and diamond. It’s just a different way to group people. Obviously they are diamonds so you can sort of see what their level is. If you do CARA like I used too then it’s kind of just the highest level. It’s just a different system

Diamond is the highest Xcel level right? So they don't learn those things like aerials on beam or giants on bars and yurchenko vault?

Adriana Schwarz When a lot of people are done in xcel diamond they move onto JO if they want to keep going on.
Adriana Schwarz Xcel Diamond can do all of those skills except maybe the aerial on beam. I know they can do front tuck on beam though. Also you can compete Giants in Platinum(the next lowest level) and up. I have seen Diamonds compete a lot of high level skills(double backs on bars etc.) but not every Xcel Diamond chooses to to train/compete them😊😀

Danielle Tyler Loll i'm in like a pre- competitieve group with 2 qualification Rounds and 1 state championship (if you qualify). The states one is may 20th, so then is when my meet season ends. And for me it is still 2 days to the meet (its 21:43 thursday evening lol)

So is Xcel diamond like the Xcel version of level 6? I don't know much about how the Xcel levels are done but I know Megan and Cieras skills in this were similar to level 6/7
Jenna R not really, they twist on floor, they have back handsprings on beam, and they have release moves on vault. that's level 8//9 skills lmao

And they would need a yurchenko vault for level 8. They're great and everything but they're not level 8/9. Level 9 would need a back tuck on beam, and a yurchenko layout vault.
They could probably get away with level 8 on floor though.
