Appreciate the commentary, gentlemen! Mauhur and the boys will go back on the bench. Will have to look into picking up some Crebain and playing around with Grima/zerker swap. Cheers!

I ran a list similar to Ian's list at 700pts - the biggest benefit to taking Berserkers is to engage Terror. I ran Mauhur with 6 Marauders as my fast troops (no Warg Riders) because they're fast and don't test for breaking as soon, travel through woods better, and wrap flanks quickly. I made the points for Grima by not taking Warg Riders and relying on Uruk-Hai bows instead of crossbows . . .

Great podcast again guys, I’m really enjoying the series especially for armies I don’t usually play with or against.
Following the recent preorders and upcoming MTO I’m considering starting an angmar army. No particular lore theme but I want it to play differently to a typical army and focus on the varying debuffs available. Also no Gulavhar as he’s not available but happy to consider a shade as it should be easy to convert.
    Here’s the 650 list I’ve made up:
Witch King (leader) 3/15/3 crown + horse
    2 orcs w/ shield
    2 orcs w/ spear
    1 orc 2handed
    1 orc w/ bow
1 warg rider shield + throwing spear
1 cave troll, troll chain + hammer
    2 wild wargs
    1 orc captain w/ shield + warg
    2 orcs w/ shield
    2 orcs w/ spear
    1 orc 2 handed
    1 orc w/ bow
1 warg rider throwing spear + shield
    1 wild warg
    1 spectre
Then 2 of the following identical warbands:
    Barrow-wight
    2 orcs w/ shield
    2 orcs w/ spear
    1 orc 2 handed
    1 orc w/ bow
    1 wild warg
    1 spectre
    39 models. 4 bows 5 might
My initial thoughts are to find a few more points to replace the cave troll with either a shade or burhdur.
Warg riders and wild wargs are there for mobility in addition to the captains march. Then with plenty of spirit heroes to take advantage of the army bonus. Then relying on the spectres and magic from the WK and wights to neutralise enemy heavy hitters and the captain on warg can take out troops and the cave troll some average lvl heroes and tougher ones when transfixed/paralysed.
    Thanks

Minor note: Thorin, KUTM can't shield if he loses his goat and is surrounded - of course, he's still D8, so maybe it doesn't matter?

Thanks for doing these podcasts, I am new to the game and learn so much from listening.
I put together an 800 point Mordor list insipired by a list you guys reviewed in a previous episode and wanted to hear your thoughts on it:
    Warband 1 - 16 Warriors
    Leader: Witch King - 3M 14W 2F
    -Crown of Morgul
    -Armored Fell Beast
    8 Mordor Orcs w/Shield
    7 Mordor Orcs w/Spear
    1 Mordor Orc w/Banner
    Warband 2 - 12 Warriors
    Goroth Captain of the Morannon
    6 Mordor Orcs w/Shield
    5 Mordor Orcs w/Spear
    Mordor Orc Drummer
    Warband 3 - 12 Warriors
    Kardush the Firecaller
    4 Orc Trackers
    4 Orc Warriors w/Shield
    4 Orc Warriors w/Spear
    Warband 4 - 2 Warriors
    Mordor Troll Chieftain
2 Warg riders with throwing spears and shield
    Totals
    Models: 46
    Might: 9
    Has Banner and Drum.
I wanted the list to be designed around letting my heros do the killing with plenty of orcs around to support them by tying up enemy troops. I also wanted to take advantage of the ability to sacrifice cheap orcs with Kardush and Goroth and use Kardush to supply the WK if I start to run low on will.
Witch King needs no explanation, Harbinger of Evil, great caster, 4 attacks with monstrous charge on Fell Beast.
Goroth has the drummer and will be used to pile in with his orcs and cut through enemy troops using his S5 with +1 to wound which allows him to take down even D7 enemy troops on a 4+. Another bonus with bringing him is if he is ever the target in one of the assassination scenarios he can sacrifice his orcs to stay alive on a +2 each time.
Kardush brings fury to mitigate the orcs courage issues and can cast pretty much at will with his special rule.
Troll Chieftain is here to bring some real hero killing power outside of the WK himself.
I am concerned about the lack of mobility in this list but I am counting on numbers and the WK on Fell beast to be enough to deal with this. Please let me know what you think and if you would make any changes.

I think mobility is fine given the drummer. The issue will be the chieftain, who is powerful, but slow. Have you considered a Great Beast for this list? He could replace the chieftain, give you another 10 models, and some mobile shooting. You could put the wargs in the WKs WB, and drop a couple of trackers to make up the points. Kardush can kill the great beast archers to get will hen needed.

Hey, guys. Love the videos. Been watching for a while and have enjoyed all the content. Just started a Moria army and was wondering what you guys thought of the 750pt list below. If you're willing to give my list a review I'd appreciate it.

Lothlorien (green ally with Rivendell) 800pt list
      Warband 1
      Celeborn with armor, sword, shield
      Galadhrim standard bearer
6x Galadhrim with sword and shield
4x Galadhrim with bow and spear
      3x Galadhrim court guard
      Warband 2
Haldir with heavy armor and bow
5x Galadhrim with sword and shield
4x Galadhrim with bow and spear
      3x Galadhrim court guard
      Warband 3
      Gildor Inglorian
      3x Noldor exiles with bow
      Warband 4
Orophin (Galadhrim captain) on horse with sword and shield
      3x Galadhrim knights with shield
800 points. 36 models. 11 bows (plus Haldir). The goal here is a “come and get me” with two bigger phalanxes and 2 static flanking forces that can move fast for hit and run or objective capturing. Gildor is kinda squishy but is intended to move and distract and can maybe immobilize a wandering hero or small band. Knights are for same purpose but mostly move, distract, and possibly capture. I have watched your Lothlorien podcast over 10 times (no joke) and tried to do my best. Haldir can be exchanged for Rumil without a hitch if you guys think he’d be more affective in this configuration.
Thanks for all the entertainment and god bless Matt for all his help... hopefully this student will do well in my upcoming 800pt random matches ply scenario tourney.

Usually you give alfrids might to one of the Girls. They have 0 might and alfrid does not "steal" the might- he gets a might even if he rolls a 1 and the Target has no might. Girls call the heroic movement then.... this sucker Alfrid lost me the final of the german championship in 2019, because of getting darted in moonlight.....
