  • Alrighty! The day has finally arrived! This week on Lift Arc Builds Tay finally puts the finishing touches of fabrication onto the helical sculpture! An interesting part of the design is a top of "tree limbs" made from rebar that will hold the dangling tools. This whole job has been a massive undertaking from a pure fabrication perspective, and it's taken over a month of work. Nonetheless, all of Tay's work has paid off and we couldn't be happier with the results!
There are still several things that are going to happen before the sculpture is installed at the client's home, such as powder coating and attaching tools to the tree limbs. However, Tay's part of the project has come to a close! Stay tuned to our social media accounts for images and videos of the installation, and we will do our best to share all of the final media with all of you!
How do you think this wild idea turned out? Have you ever built or seen anything else like it? What would your thoughts on putting together a long "movie" episode with all of the episodes combined for you to binge if you'd like? Let us know in the comments below!
    Thanks for watching!

I really enjoyed this project and redirect all the time you have in it.
I will be waiting for the CNC Plasma table video. You should definitely do more videos on that. A little bit of all aspects of the table, from steel purchasing, to material storage, to job bidding and advertising. I'd like to see all of that.

It’s more like a family tree. The family owns a construction company….. the DNA represents the family business, the ribbon of tools represents the type of business. The branches on top of the tree represent all the family members.
Names and dates could be hung off those loops at the ends of the big branches.
It worked out in my opinion, probably better than intended.
Really wraps up a family business and a family tree all in one.
    Great job.

They should definitely put a cool steel plaque displayed in front of it explaining what it is and represents. That things really neat! Please tell the designer she “nailed it” 🤦‍♂️sorry I couldn’t resist. Great episode guys!! Ps. I got a kick out the model you built with an ex girlfriend, that looks like it was crushed up thrown away and then brought back after a minute to collect… 🧐 🤪😂 jk! Love it man!

I really enjoy your videos and recently bought a Sidekick 8. You mentioned doing an update video on your SideKick 10 and I was curious if you would show how you move the torch back to a re-starting position, in the software, once you have a cutting error or the torch gets bumped?

How the hell is there no footage of you climbing that thing like a spiral staircase?! And if Tay resisted the urge, how did his dad?
