A new RF front end design provides low noise amplification, excellent sensitivity and extremely low intermod susceptibility with an IP3 (3rd-order Intercept Point) of +15 dBm. The Vector Diversity system (an advanced version of true diversity) smoothly combines RF signals from two receiver front ends per channel and combines them in phase to obtain maximum signal integrity.
The DCR822 incorporates AES-256 CTR encryption for the highest security available. In addition, the DCR822 can record receiver audio directly onto a microSD card in the industry standard .wav (BWF) file format at 24 bits/48 kHz.
