They had a huge American vehicle may be Chevrolet in their garage..

আমি যখন ৫/৬ বছর বয়স তখন প্রথম বিটিভি তে দেখেছিলাম এই গানটি, মনে আছে খুব জনপ্রিয় ছিল গানটি। নাজমা জামান এবং পিলু মমতাজ ছিল তখনকার দুই জন জনপ্রিয় পপ গায়িকা।

কত সালের দিকের?
নাজমা জামানরা পিলুর থেকে সিনিয়র আরো আর পুরোনো, তাদের একটি নিজস্ব গানের দল ছিল নাম জিঙ্গা শিল্পীগোষ্ঠি। তখন তারাই ছিল একমাত্র পপ গানের গোষ্ঠি। কিন্ত তখন হাতে গোনা কতজন ছাড়া এসব গান সবাই চিনতনা বুজতনা বলে তারা পিছনে পরে যায়।
ত্তর দশকের শেষের দিকে ভীষণ জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছিল এটি।
সেই তরুন বয়সে নতুন কোন অভিসার ব্যাপারটার মাঝে
রোমাঞ্চ ভয় ভাললাগা সব মিশিয়ে মিশ্র অনুভুতি ছিল অনেক।
গানটা আমাদের জেনারেশনের সবার হৃদয় স্পর্শ করেছিল।

I was extremely stunned to learn about the Zinga Goshty- A Rock music group in Bangladesh during the earliest Pakistan Era. I am further astounded to look at all the women artists of this group. How brilliant and revolutionary they were as well as Sober and highly educated. But Nazma Zaman who was a teacher of Willes Little Flower School that time took extra attention of Mine among these posh ladies!
I am overwhelmed with her ebullience, sense of fashion, postures, a unique way of singing with diversified dancing moves. She was seizing the full attention with her transcendent beauty along with the unparalleled positively appealing and heart soothing impressions. The manner of carrying saree, the hairdo, dyed hair- Absolutely she was more ahead of her time. Whenever I feel down, sullen I search CZcams to enjoy this gem! And damn! I feel too good at soul! ❤ ❤
We must be proud to have them in our history of Bangladesh. And respect to the visionary founder of this group- Late Shafat Ali. The present so-called Modern (?) Artists ought to learn the “Art” from these legends.

This song came into being actually around 1972-73 and was broadcast in BTV. It became a massive hit and we had seen number tv performances of Zinga after that with Safat Ali taking the lead. The 1982 version is a re-done version in BTV.

‘উই মিস হার অ্যান্ড জিংগা’- নাজমা জামান, জিঙ্গা শিল্পী গুষ্টি। “তোমারই জীবনে এলো কি আজ বুঝি নতুন কোন অভিসার আমি এসেছি জেনে কি তোমার মনে কি ফাগুন খুলে দিলো দ্বার” গানটি একসময় স্পর্শ করেছিল সঙ্গীত প্রিয় শ্রোতাদের অন্তর। বিখ্যাত এই গানটি গেয়েছেন সত্তর দশকের বিখ্যাত পপ সংগীতশিল্পী নাজমা জামান। গানটি কতখানি জনপ্রিয়তা পেয়েছিল, তা সেকালের শ্রোতারাই বলতে পারবেন। গানটি লিখেছেন - সাফাত আলী খান। সুর- জিঙ্গা গোষ্ঠী। আমার যতদুর মনে পড়ে এই গানটি আমি প্রথম শুনেছিলাম ফজলে লোহানী’র পরিচালনায় বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশনে ‘যদি কিছু মনে না করেন’ অনুষ্ঠানে। আমি তখন ছোট। আমার এখনো মনে আছে সেই স্মৃতি। কোথায় গেলো সেই দিন ? সেই বাল্য জীবন, সেই স্মৃতির কথা স্মৃতিচারন করতে গেলে মনে পড়ে গানে গানে তাদের সেই কর্মকাণ্ড যা আজ ও যেন অন্তর ছুঁয়ে দেয়। আমার আপনাদের মতো সঙ্গীত প্রিয় শ্রোতাদের নষ্টালজিয়া আক্রান্ত করে ফেলবে সবাইকে। শিল্পী নাজমা জামান এই গুনী শিল্পীকে নিয়ে স্মৃতিচারন করতে গেলে বলতে হবে সত্তর আর আশির দশকের দর্শক হৃদয় নাচানো হার্টথ্রব এই গুনী শিল্পীর কথা। আমার মতে গান হচ্ছে শোনার জিনিস, কিন্তু বাঙালি শ্রোতাদের কেউ যদি গান দেখিয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে তিনি হচ্ছেন নাজমা জামান। সত্তর আর আশির দশকে প্রজাপতির মতো মঞ্চে উড়ে উড়ে গান গেয়ে নাজমা জামান নতুন একটি ধারার জন্ম দেন, সেই ধারাকে ধরেই পরবর্তীতে বাংলাদেশে বিকশিত হয় পপ সঙ্গীতের।

এই গানটির যখন রিলিজ হয় তখন আমার জন্মও হয়নি। কি যে একটা সুন্দর গান তা বলে বুঝানো যাবেনা। আমাকে প্রতিনিয়ত টানে এবং সুরের সাগরে ভাসাতে থাকে। ভাবা যায় তখন কত সুন্দর গান হত! কিংবদন্তী "নাজমা জামান" ম্যাডাম কত সুন্দর করেই না এই গান গেয়েছেন। বুঝ হওয়ার পর থেকে এই গানটা এতবার শুনেছি তার সঠিক হিসেব নেই। এখনো শুনে যাচ্ছি সমান্তরালে। "ঝিঙ্গা গুষ্টির" এই কালজয়ী গান অন্তরে এমন ভাবে গেঁথে আছে যে প্রায় সময় নিজে গুন গুন করে গাওয়ার চেষ্টা করি। সেই ভাল লাগা থেকেই নিজের মত করে নতুন ফিউশনে মিউজিকটি পুনরায় কম্পোজ করার চেষ্টা করেছি। আপনাদের কারও ভাল লাগলে আমার চ্যানে*ল থেকে ঘুরে আসুন। আশা করছি মিউজিকটি ভাল লাগবে। ধন্যবাদ
