1) Always incredibly respectful (even when passengers are not)
2) Might not know where or for how long they're going until they're told just minutes before takeoff
3) Don't have normal working hours
4) Definitely don't get nearly as much credit as they deserve

Thanks for bringing us along on your trips! The new suitcase is so cute! I need to get a new one but I've been putting it off. We aren't undefeated anymore but 6-1 is still something to be proud of! Glad you got a good room downtown. The view of the river is beautiful. I've had a city view before and it's a big letdown when you first open the curtain. Michigan is an absolutely beautiful state that you should definitely explore when you get a chance. The upper and lower upper peninsula (high part of the lower peninsula) are in full color change right now and it makes for a beautiful drive. There's also tons of little lake towns with little shops that are fun to go in. I don't think AA flys to traverse city but that's where you'd want to fly into.

Discovered your videos while in dispatcher school last year. Love these videos! It's like checking in with a friend from time to time. You & Sydney should consider a channel of just your trips together. They're usually very funny! Question: do you take something or have a technique to help you fall asleep at earlier times than usual? Do you feel fully rested when you sleep outside of your normal times (homebase)? I worked in the rencen for years, I don't think I ever saw a flight crew coming or going
That was Windsor Ontario across the river in Detroit. Super close. Who else was glad Kacey got rid of that bad wheel?!
Some oddities about Windsor:
1. southernmost city of Canada, latitude is the same as northern California.
2. due to a bend in the river, Windsor is on the south bank, Detroit is on the north bank. So Kacey was looking SOUTH there. One needs a map to understand this, Windsor is on a peninsula of land between the Great Lakes.

@@speakingtruths4215 --- yeah I thought the last line was little out of line too so I deleted it, but I was trying to show Canada and the USA are not always "poles" apart or hugely socially distant, as many Americans especially often think, not saying Kacey thinks that. No-one is paying me anything, but I am getting the idea that "research" - even if you know the information already - is not what the most of the audience here wants to hear, however some may wish to hear that it is not safe to walk on glaciers for many very serious reasons like falling down crevasses and I made a comment about that on K's Alaska glacier video, where she slipped and fell quite hard.

Crazy busy flight life. Love Detroit airport! SLC is O.K, but the mountains are fantastic. Charlotte is fine, and Memphis is where my corporate office is located, so I've been through there many times. If you ever come to Pittsburgh and want to see the sights, we'll be happy to show you around!

Kacey, can you explain in a future video what you need to do to sign in? Does the flight crew have a meeting inside the building before you guys head to the gate? Beautiful view of the river! Did you do any gambling in Vegas? That was a seriously good shot leaving Vegas when you see the water line & how much of a drought they are having out there.

I LOVE TravelPro suitcases. I have a mix of their MaxLite series pieces, and they're so lightweight and easy to maneuver. Plus they hold up really well - I've mostly done road trips rather than flying with them, but my brother-in-law used to be a VERY frequent flyer (not as frequent as an airline employee, but at least 2-3 flights a week for over a year and then several years of 2-3 road trips and at least one flight a month) and he had one that lasted him over a decade!

Where are you stayed in Detroit was called the Renaissance Center itâs General Motors World headquarters with hotel, thatâs why the lobby was so large and had a lot of vehicles staged all over.
It's so weird seeing it called the Renaissance center when everyone says ren cen. I almost forget that's not its real name.

Thatâs because itâs General Moters World Headquarters (The Renaissance Center). With Hotel thatâs why all the vehicles were staged all over the lobby.

When you show your hotel, my first thought were why is our layovers in Detroit aren't this nice. Our hotel is closer to the airport and there is nothing to do.

Where Kacey was staying was the hotel at the Renaissance Center. The building is also where GM headquarters is located. That's why there's trucks in the lobby.

The Detroit-Windsor bridge is one of the busiest in the country. How can you have a bad day after getting new luggage. What did you think of the new terminal at SLC? I've heard nothing but good things about it. SLC has one of the most scenic approaches in the country if you ever get in there during the day.
