A day after narrowly missing the national and world junior record in the girls’ 4x400 relay, theBullisgirls left no doubt on the track as they leveled two Jamaican teams and Virginia’s Western Branch relay to win the girls’ 4x200 invitational at the Virginia Showcase.
The Bulldogs time of 1:35.39 broke the national high school and world junior record set by the Poly High (CA) foursome of Shana Solomon, Jasmine Lee, Dominique Dorsey, and Shalonda Solomon at the Armory Track in New York City in 2003.

The blind handoff from 1 to 2 won this race. That is one of the few times I've seen a blind hand off indoors.
Exchanges...exchanges...exchanges win races. The ladies escalated through the exchange zone, for each handoff and executed a damn near flawless race. Well done.

@@carlamarie72able Yes she did with her Kentucky uniform so she is still in Kentucky. When athing went pro she didn't wear school attire. I just went to her page still at Kentucky

Is it just me or is anyone else noticing how many records are being broken and we haven’t even gotten to the olympics yet? Doesn’t seem “normal”
People are saying it’s because of corona. Athletes had a lot of time to condition and improve their techniques because of a really long off season full of uncertainty of when the season will start up
it’s definitely normal, we’re in a new age now. you’re gonna see a lot of new things. AND covid rebuilt ppls mindsets so everything’s gonna b different

Anyone know why they stopped running the 4×200 in major events?
First the Olympics cut it as an event in 92 because USA was the only team winning year after year and a lot of countries couldn’t field a team. So it’s the USA’s fault for being too good at it.
I wish they included the record they beat.
