Great tutorial Joe! Hey do you think you could create a strobe light scene that would be good for an EDM set?
Joe, great video! Keep them coming. Could you do one that gets a little more in depth on some choreographed moving head effects? I have some inno pocket washes and some designs spot 250 's that I would love to start using when I do lights for live bands. I just don't know how or what to do with them. Example: like how to make a good ending of a song moving head effect where all the lights move to one spot. Or any ideas you might have. Simple but cool is what I'm looking for. Again thanks for all the great tutorials I'm learning a lot from you.
Amazing job on the tutorial videos. That being said, I'm trying to set up a laserworld laser with it and am having an INSANELY difficult time getting any of this to do what I want it to. I was under the impression I'd be able to actually control what the laser(s) are doing & color/patterns etc. and all I'm being able to do is activate the default circles, squares that came with the laser. Do you have any suggestions or places I can go to get some help? Laserworld & ADJ have been of very little help - adj actually told me to check out your videos because they're better than anything they have so kudos for that. Just feel like I'm way in over my head especially since it seemed so easy in your vids and I'm barely getting the laser to respond to anything I've done.

I have a question : I would like to have 2 different groups in the live windows , the first group of LED bars and the second group with moving heads . Can I run them simultaneously ? so as to manage the first and second group at the same time but independently of each other.
Otherwise I should schedule a too high number of combinations of scenes . I don't know if I explained well...

@joe i have a problem i have two [ cob uv cannon] by adj. they have them on adj but my problem is on the back of the light its hard to navigate and put it into DMX mode. i even downloaded the manual for the light fixture and no luck :( super frustrating . but your videos help a lot thank you

Question, can you combine two Advanced scenes with the same keyboard trigger? Basically 2 different type of fixtures doing something totally different than the other fixtures, but triggered at the same time with keyboard trigger.
How do you get you're beams to cross each other like that from the start? Like at 4:08, you begin to move them and they follow the same path, but rotate in the opposite way.

Hey Joe, I recently purchased MyDMX, however, the "Next" feature (Triggers the next action: 5:58) is not working for me. I have searched the ADJ forums and the only person having this issue had it this time last year, has anyone else got this issue and does anyone know of a fix? I have a gig in two days and if I cannot get this fixed then I will be in deep ****!

Hey Joe, I noticed when your in scene builder mode, the pocket spots crisscross , do you have them on some type of inverted setting? Tommy
That's a pan/tilt invert on the fixture itself. Though that can also be done using the patch settings

+Hobby TV The software is almost identical. The only difference with the myDMX buddy is some of the features are not enabled. I would recommend spending the extra money on the full interface if you can

only if the light itself has soundcontrol, but no with ableton, only on speakers

Im New in the group
Im a dj and i know how IT hard and painful to Do simple DMX prg with software or DMX Controller !
For those reasons i decide with my Buddy Dan ( A GURU in electronics and Prg) to develope a New signal protocol to replace DMX.
Are protocol We call it SA4FR (Sound Active 4 Frequencys ).
The base of the protocol is to use the 4 Frequencys of music sound and transmit the signal by WIFI to any fixtures to control the colors of the LEDs and movements of the fixture or any kinds of Lights: LED strips, MovingHead, curtains, strings etc.. with the apps and always Synch With the music !
No programming Will Be needed for scenes or colors everything while be control with the apps that send wifi signal to are small Controller that will be Built in on every RGBW LED Light fixtures or any Light using LEDs.
No more problems with programing With different fixtures from any manufactures. "the SA4FR PROTOCOL will control the colors and mouvements"
Example 1
you have a Par can with 16 LEDs RGB, with SA4FR protocol you be able to control on the PAR 1 to 4 Frequencys to synch the 16 Leds with the music. Depending of the frequencys selected to the fixture the colors pattern Will Be different for each LEDs.
you Select
Frequencys 1, you Will control the16 LEDs.
Select Frequencys 12.
you Will control :F1 8LEDs, F2 8LEDs.
Select Frequencys 123.
You Will control F1 6LEDs, F2 5LEDs
F3 5LEDs
Select Frequencys 1234
You Will control F1 4LEDs, F2 4LEDs
F3 4LEDs, F5 4LEDs.
IT always a division

With "SA4FR" no limitation of numbers of fixtures can be Link together, because we DON'T adresses each lights. We send by WIFI 4 frequencys to the "univers" and Only those With the right frequencys setting while analyse the signal.
