I lived in N. Utah and I would get excited when the snow falls. I drive my rc's more in winter than I do any other time of year.
I have the same one, I got it this Christmas with the same body too.
Awesome footage. Looks much more stable in the slide and less prone to spinning out than my nitro rustler.
Every lipo owner should see this. Nitro is easy and reliable if you run it the right way. Preheating in the cold, slight adjustments. Doesn’t take 70-80mph+ to have fun. (Just ask a crawler) lol
Been thinking about getting a slayer/slash to add to the collection. This makes me lean towards the slash.
I want to get a slash nitro so bad because I have a battery one and a battery rustler but where I live I just can’t find any in stock anywhere at the moment.

Traxxas Nitro Slash Mayhem Drift Session 2022. I'm digging on that light bar. Killer soundtrack too. Were you using the TSM at all or was that turned completely off? Just curious. I have the same truck, body and all but haven't run it yet. I bought a few nitros in a short time and just haven't gotten to the Slash yet. Great video. Good luck on the snow (water) damage.
Traction stability was off until the snow reached an inch. Receiver box was fine but the only problem was that water got in the easy start wand and it wouldn’t work but after some time it worked, close call.

Pretty easy install. Just need to drill some holes into a pillars on body
I put my nitro slash away for the winter. In February when I got it I broke it in on salted IL roads and a bunch of the screws are rusty now 😅 also took it beach in St. Augustine. Note to self only use it on freshwater beaches. I never really wanted to run it in snow over the fear of water getting sucked in. Merry Christmas! Also I got a question has your nitro slash blown any clutch springs? Mine has blown 3 after 1 gallon of fuel…. Also use RPM parts! They are so much better compared to stock!
Not normal to have clutch spring go out that quickly. I would think it could be from them being rusted and brittle but doesn’t make sense how it had been happening so often. I had have not heard that to happen to anyone before so I would check gear mesh or any drive components as there is something causing extra stress on springs causing them to break but I have no clue why they have blow out so quick for you.
@@haywirerc yeah someone told me not to give to full throttle form a dead stop. Because it’s a 3.3 powerful engine on a 2wd platform that has lots of stress on top of small tires

can i still drive in that if mine is waterproof?
Keep an eye on your air filter. Your electronics should have no problem if they are sealed in a waterproof case but you still have to remember the filter will get clogged with water and water will enter into the engine and throw off your tune or shut the engine off.
How did you make the light bar work mine just flickers
I got lucky with mine. Sometimes connecters are loose and you have to go back in and fix it
