Bought this great radio and I love it!
Great work to the Flysky team!
Do you have a list over compatible recievers?
As far as I know there are at present only the AFHDS3 receivers from FlySky
FTr10 & FTr16s, which was included in the order of the receiver.
But with both receivers I made really good experience in my plane and quad.
I wish to install a 433 mhz dragonlink transmitter for FPV. What type of connector does it have on the back panel?
Interesting never seen this I have all the jumper controllers , surprised I never seen or herd of this
It's our new radio PL18
After Hitec Eclipse 7, Graupner MZ 18 and 24, FS-I10, Radiolink AT10II, Hitec Aurora X, Futaba T14 SG, FRSKY X9D SE, .........Ordered today :o))... hope it's a good choice.....
Was it a good choice?
@@40rtyp definitely yes... still use it for a drone and a glider ... very , very, good quality ...very easy to use and program, to me the best radio I ever had (30y of practice...). A facebook page exist for the users, you can join it and see other comments & feedbacks. Brgds
@@tristanbreton9097 thank you. I purchased it :)
Your ibus/sbus is compatible with helicopters flybarless as futuba sbus protocol. If yes I'll purchase the pl-18 to set it up w/spirit fbl that's works well w/futuba sbus. Thanks flysky...
Hello Flysky, I want to buy this for my gasoline airplane. Is the receiver safe from interference of ignition spark? Thanks
Hi, awesome TX, sorry if it is not the medium, but when they are going to release a firmware update of the radio fs-i10 to be able to use drones, thank you very much
Mariano Suppo
I use 4 drones on my FS-i10 no need for software change ?!?!
I've just got my paladin home, haven't tried it out yet.
But where is the manual?
All i got was a tiny little quick start guide.
Is it online or what?
you can download from our website.here is the link:www.flysky-cn.com/s/PL18-user-manual-20190816.pdf
thanks for the great video... We have about 200 pcs AFHDS 2A receivers in stock, I've read we can use it with the FJR2 + FS-RM003, that's a shame it's not included with the PL18 or built-in... anyway, the question is, the connection of the external module as flysky or any other multi-module will be via PPM or SERIAL? will the range/respond will lack in performance? and how about battery life with the module? thank you
You can use the JR bay adapter FJR2 to use PL18 with AFHDS2A receivers. the connection of the external module as flysky or any other multi-module will be via PPM, the latency maybe add 10ms. The battery life will be different with different module, different setting. You can use PL18 6-8 hours one time. You also can charge the power via usb slot.
Flysky RC Model thanks for the respond, you think 10ms will make noticeable delay? We do want to try this pl18, but just afraid from delays, also, will you update the firmware to work with 2A protocol? Please bring it back, this way your radio will have more market for sure, when In the present radiomaster takes control, and it’s cheap plastic compared to your premium PL18, what do you think please?
@@Fredhobby Thank you for the suggestion. AFHDS3 protocol is more powerful. You can have a try.
Flysky RC Model hi, thanks again, see, we are a hobby shop, maybe we can try if you are so confident with it, as you say it’s better, can you help us getting dealer prices to try the receivers? We can take all the types mixed quantity as long as we get good price so we can demonstrate them and sell them, waiting your reply, thanks
@@Fredhobby you can contact flyskyrc@flysky-cn.net to get more information.

Does this come with half finished firmware like the nirvana. Or is everything working properly.?
the firmware is good , and the nv14 will release new firmware soon
@@FlyskyRCModel 😂😂 I'll believe it when I see it. You guys have had over a year to get it together. Even your firmware download page on your website doesn't work!.
@@jamiemonkey1362 I agree with you, you can wait and find out if the PL18 is good enough for you. exactly , not 1 year, it takes us 5 years to make the pl18 . for the website , there maybe few page or link disabled because we are upgrading it. but we will fix all the wrong right now
Is the new transmitter backwards compatible with the FS-iA6B receivers ??
Hi, Jack, it's backwards compatible with all 2a receivers by using fs-frm003. the related firmware will update soon.
And what is fs-rf003 ?
@@piddos sorry, it's FRM003, an older rf of flysky
Ok,so if i buy this old module,it will fit the radio and make it work with the 2a recievers?
@@FlyskyRCModel can you give us more details on the 3a protocol, receivers, and modules? How is it better than the 2a protocol? Will there be any micro sized 3a rxs?
Precio del radio por favor price please
I really wish it comes with OpenTX version.
the firmware is constantly updated, it's as good as opentx
Wireless charging?
