Hardcover to collect, paperback to read but, I have arthritis in my hands so for long books, I love my kindle!

Both, though paperback is cheaper to replace than hardcover and for books that I'm unsure about I go with audiobooks first. Also I'm a new and used book type of woman. Yes I love getting new books in the mail, but for the older out of print books if you can find them for no more than $7 that's an amazing deal especially if it's by an author you love and/or maybe they just recently passed away and you want to find some of their earlier work, used is often best for a bargain.
