I have the Aamoon version of this pedal called the Pock/Loop. I also have the Nu X Loop core. The drum tracs on the Pock Loop are much better than the limited and stale beats on the Nu X, but the sound quality of the Nu X Loops is much better to my ear. I'm experiminting with chaining them together to see if the Loop core will adapt the Pock Loop rythms. Nothing conclusive yet, I'm an old Geezer so this is very new tech for me, but the devices sure beat playing with no accompanying musician during the "Plague time". Thank you so much for sharing that Stephan! The only one budget looper I've tried (doesn't even have a brand name I think?) had pretty poor quality when it comes to overdubbing. But I do know there are some quality budget loopers out there! The drum track indeed will most of the time sound MIDI like and unnatural but as you said, it sure beats playing alone with nothing! Nice pedal, that said I have the Donner Circle.It has the features of this plus it has 2 separate foot switches. And it's only around $90. I love this one's led light.
How do you start a new recording? Or delete an old recording? I get how you use it but, I wish you'd show how to completely delete recordings and start new ones. I'm trying to figure out how to use mine. I've never used a looper before. 😊👍

I def could've added a short section on the basic operation 🤦🏻♂️ but I also didn't want to make the video like 20min long lol to delete an old loop you would double tap the button but on the second tab you would hold the button down until it flashes. It's like 2sec or so. Hope that helps :D

Hey Alexander! Congrats on your first pedal! Looper pedals do have a bit of a learning curve if you've never used it before. First thing first, you need to have a power source since this pedal doesn't take 9v battery. If you don't have one yet you can get it from any online, or local music store. Then you want to connect your instrument to the pedal's input (right) and then connect the pedal's output (left) to your amp's input jack. (Think of: guitar feeds the signal so it's "in", amp lets out the signal so it's "out") Hope that helps! Let me know if you more questions :)
You can delete the most recent overdub. So if you record a loop, overdub once and then overdub it again (2nd time), you can only delete the 2nd overdub. This is pretty consistent across most single channel looper I've come across. Hope that helps :D
I don’t normally criticize a product, but I would stay away from this pedal, I have one setting on a shelf collecting dust, bought it off of EBay, it worked for awhile, then started acting up, eBay nor the seller would back the pedal, 107.00 bucks down the drain. Since then I purchased a Donner circle looper, it is fantastic.
Dang sorry to hear that. I haven’t experienced any issue so far. Fingers crossed lol Also the Donner looper does look every promising and is the first one to have a freaking display lol It bugged me for so long that no one thought putting a simple display on a looper is a good ideal Lol I may get one and review it too! SOOOoooooo you can not record the guitar with the JOYO drum track ??? i have the Circle looper I LOVE IT BUT you can not modify the drum tracks ..i have the Pook loop i like it too... i have the boss RC-1 witch i like also but,, i am looking for a drum looper pedal that you can modify drum beat, and record Guitar or vocal any imput would be great .. thank's ALlll
Hmmm record the guitar with the drum track... if you loop the pedal into your DAW I think it is possible to include the drum in the recording. Tho I question how good that'll sound. As far as modifying the drum loop? Not possible with this pedal. You'll need to get a drum machine or use a midi drum pad and software if you want to have a customized drum beat in your loop session. Hope that helps! :D
Sure is!! :D But I will say tho, since then there's been a whole lotta budget looper pedals that came out. Unless you really want the drum to jam with there's def more options out there now! Cheers!

can you delete a layer separately? like delete the last layer you recorded without deleting all

How many time signatures does this have?
Are you referring to the drum tracks? There are different preset patterns but mostly are 4/4
