Sorry to hear of the bad news, man! I'm glad you and your family are safe, though. I have two herniated discs in my lumbar spine, so I can sympathize at least a little. When I have a flare-up, I am practically bedridden. I really hope the surgery works for you and that you can get back in your shop as soon as possible! - Joe

Sorry to hear this. I've been through several surgeries, not like this, but they shut me down for months at a time. As you make progress and do the rehab you'll find that you can do small projects. It was little things like a small laser or CNC project that really gave me hope. Whatever you do don't think that you're smarter than the doctor, you're not, just take it a day at a time and you'll get there. Best wishes.

Hang in there! I’ll keep you in my prayers. Give yourself time and patience. You’ll get back to it! Be patient and trust it will come back to you. Maybe now is a good time to learn some software you’ve always wanted to learn so you come back making stronger than ever?
