I too love girandola fireworks and have always wondered.. what would it be like to see 10 or more.. or many many more... go up simultaneously (and I can't imagine what it would sound and feel like actually being there at the time!) might look kind of nifty too.

Clowns were always meant to be disturbing and off-putting. You know about Pagliacci? It's a play in which the lead plays a clown who kills his wife and her lover on-stage, a play within a play, and the audience has no idea it was real. If that doesn't set the stage for killer clowns, I don't know what does. How that relates to fireworks, I don't know, but there were some good ones on display here.

Cutting Edge / World Class make some really good fireworks. Had the Wicked Jester before and in person its probably one of the best fountain's I've had.

Because of the Russian Revolution in 1917 there was a world wide shortage of the red rubber used to make clown noses causing a worldwide panic among clowns. Until some smart American clowns realized you could simply glue a cherry bomb on your nose and they looked even better than the rubber ones.
This led to a very short lived clown gag where you'd see another another clown sneezing, or with a runny nose, and offer him a handkerchief. Of course, instead of giving him _your_ handkerchief you'd light the fuse on his nose!
And know you know the dark origin of the phrase "blow your nose"!
