    Such an awesome collection of trees. I like the fact you have a herculis club tree too! I have one growing in Virginia that I brought from the house I grew up in down in brevard county florida. The seeds can be used as a szechuan peppercorn too!

    Love the food forest and just the variety of content you put out. Thanks for the inspiration!

    If you let those branches grow below the graft on your cheralotta when they both flower you will have excellent cross pollination and you'll have 2 types of fruit on one tree, I'm just saying

      @andrebaptiste  Před rokem +1

      Problem is the root stock is pond apple which is basically inedible. I don’t want it cross pollinating.

    Have you had any issue with those mangos and the cold? In winter springs it was like 25 degrees for 12hrs last Christmas at night. I moved up towards Ocala so I’m even further north now

      A little. But once they mature they are a little more tolerant. I also have big oak canopies and a lake and a hill. So it’s a bit of a micro climate

    Not to be annoying but would you mind making a video of your starfruit trees and what you have learned growing them? Im having a hell of a time trying to keep mine going, might just be too much sunlight for a young tree?

    • @andrebaptiste
      @andrebaptiste  Před rokem

    can you give some advice on how to start sugarcane? Ive had some terrible luck, i tried five gallon of bucket and changing the water every day for about two weeks and only had one out of two dozen sticks even start to show life. In the end i planted them and watered them with zero sucess.

    • @andrebaptiste

      See my video on rooting any small segment in a glass. By wedging it horizontally. With water half way submerging it. Change water every 4 days.

    I live in Winter Haven and I just started my tropical food forest. I have NO shade in my yard. Any recommendations?

    • @andrebaptiste
      @andrebaptiste  Před rokem +1

      That’s great. I have the opposite problem. You can plant your trees first they will grow well and provide the shade
