Paper Mario The Origami King (Bomb´s sacrifice, Olivia cry).
Literally ALL of the sad moments in Super Mario Galaxy make me cry so much. I mostly cry when I think about Rosalina's story, but I also cry at Luma's sacrifice at the end of the game.
Super Mario Galaxy didn't have to go THIS HARD, but it did. Never in my life have I sobbed so much at a Mario game.
That game was my childhood.
Blumiere and Timpani's sacrifice is my favorite sad moment, hands down. Count Bleck is one of the best and most well thought out villains, and it was SO sad to see him go. At least he understood what he did was bad, and was willing to die to reverse what he had done. Hopefully, the two are happy in the Overthere, together again.

That, my friends, is when you know these games aren't afraid to punch you in the gut.
After having lost my girlfriend to unexpected illness, I can relate a lot more to the Thousand Year Door scene. Dang that hit hard.

As a kid i never understood the saying "shes sleeping under the tree" until but now that im older i suddenly know what that ment, that she passed away and now i know why Rosalina travels with the lumas
I feel kinda bad when Junior cries and regrets his disrespect towards his brothers and sister.
The one with Luma made me sad. Not to mention the look on Mario’s face when he realized his little buddy was about to take their own lives.
Bowser Jr’s sad backstory is definitely rough for anyone who has struggled with cooperating.

Bowser can be defeated without her power if you use the infinjump sticker so her "sacrafice" wasn't even needed.
Im sorry, but I was BAWLING during the end of Color Splash. I spent so much time on that game, hopping around and making memories with Huey. Then a double wammy: reached the end and had to sell my Wii U. I'll never forget you, Mr Paint Can...

The Mario RPG games can get so sad and deep. And almost all of them end with a sad moment 😢
I remember playing all the way to the end of color splash when i was 5 with my mom, when Huey sacrificed himself, we literally cried. Never thought I’d get attached to a sentient paint can, but here we are.
What really makes me sad is seeing Charles martinet retire as the legendary role of Mario and Luigi the plumbers of Nintendo

Mario sunshine...was a hard hit when I first finished the game.....then marion galaxy ending got me emotionally confused and felt bad and then....Bobby sacrifice just got me angry that annoying bich. Loved Bobby favorite compagnion and nothing is left of him except his ghost
