i love a good slow burn. but like.. the fact that the writers wrote a love story between jj and kie without knowing is crazy. then bringing them in season 2, is amazing. but also rudy is such a damn good actor. like his faces when jj sees kie doing something with someone else. like hellooooo! also his faces to her in the last episode killed me. when he realized she was serious about going with him on the trip. and when he saw her staring at him, on the way away from the boat. or when he helped her up in the second to last scene. foreshadowing man. so excited for season three cause jj and kie, more of sarah and john b, and possibly cleo and pope. if it happens, season three will be bomb

Us Jiara fans have noticed all the small moments foreshadowing JJ and Kiara dating in season 3!! I just hope they end up together they are my ENDGAME..
The subtle moments between them just makes me soooo excited to see the actual moments between them season 3!
The producers just said season 3 will be very focused on this couple and I am so happy !!!

I love how in the very last episode of season 2 when they are on the island, JJ is standing next Ki while he’s carving the tree and keeps glancing over at her too. You can tell after he almost drowned there’s something strong that developed between them.
I never comment on videos but I had to on this one because it was so good. Hit me in all my feels. Season 3 Jiara has to be a thing.

They are one of the reasons why I love this show so much. Like in season 1 I bearly ever got the hint that they have a chance at a relationship, but then season 2 throws in so many scenes of them together and really proving how much they care for each other, and you rewatch season 1 and it's just OMG become a couple already!!!
Also, JJ is so protective over Kie and it's just so cute, even if they weren't together.

JIARA SCENE PREDICTION:
On the 3rd or 4th episode of s3.... the scene starts with cleo, pope, John b, and JJ surfing in the water. Sarah and Kiara are sitting on a log watching them. Sarah notices that Kiara is staring at them and she assumes she's looking at pope. She asks kie if she's over pope and if everythings okay with them now. Kiara brushes off the question and says thats she's over it. When the camera zooms into Kiaras perspective, you see that she's actually not looking at pope, she's looking at JJ. She's smiling at him as he walks out of the water and shakes out his hair. She looks down at her feet trying to avoid eye contact. For the past few days she's been confused of her feelings for him. JJ notices that Kiara is acting weird but he doesn't want to say anything because he just thinks she's having a hard time with the fact that she's growing estranged from her family.
(Whatever filler stuff in between)
Scene 2
At night, they're sleeping in the back of a truck and JJ and kie are sleeping next to each other and facing in. Kiara opens her eyes and looks at JJ. She doesn't know what to say or what to think so she tries to convince herself that she doesn't actually feel anything towards him. JJ sleepily opens his eyes and sees her looking at him. She quickly shuts her eyes and hopes he didn't see her looking. She's slowly opens her eyes again to see that he's looking at her. Neither of them say anything but they just looked into each other's eyes. They eventually drift off to sleep and their hands move towards each other and almost touch.

Without a doubt Kiara and JJ are endgame. Come Season 3, I don't want them to get together straight away because I like this "slow building" of what will "be" their relationship. Friends to Lovers. Now, come the next Season.... I'ma need JJ to be with someone, have a little thing with someone, kiss someone... I'ma just need my guy to dip his toes like Kiara dipped hers with Pope but "them" still having their moments like they always do. Now what I hope for in the next season is a "Throwback." I wanna see a Throwback, Flashback whatever... I just wanna see what happened or what went down with Kiara and Rafe because WITHOUT A DOUBT... Them two have/had some kind of "history" and there's no denying that!

I have a feeling that in the 3rd or 4th episode, there is gonna be some big argument with all the pogues, about whether to go after the gold or go home. They all want to go for the gold, kiara is hesitant because she misses her parents. JJ is gonna make some comment about them that will push her the wrong way and she storm away. He'll probably throw his hat down like usual when he messes up or is mad and then follow after her. They will start arguing again and he is gonna kiss her to shut her up. She'll back away and there will be a million thoughts racing through JJ's head, thinking about how he just screwed up. But then she'll grab him and kiss him back. I feel like we need to see her realize she loves him or make a move because with Pope, it ended badly. And I don't want Jiara to last for only one episode or something. That's my take on it anyways. lemme know what you guys think lmao
such a good take! i can imagine the scene you wrote so perfectly in my head. even though i'm not sure i'm a fan of these "first kisses during fights" kinda things but with their chemistry they could go any direction and it would be a success. i think they'll either let them happen during the s3 finale (which would suckkkkk) or like you said during the first few episodes but then for the finale they'd probably have a huge fight or break up or sumn. i feel like the writers won't have them together for long. but what i want most is that they don't lose the humor they both share if they get together. i feel like their friendship is really layered and i hope them becoming a couple won't mean solely focusing on the romance stuff but also continously portraying the sarcasm and witty comments they're known for

Just had a thought - In season 1 JJ told John B that he tried that door (Kie) and it was locked. What if this is why Kie had her "kook year" because she didn't want to face whatever feelings she may have for JJ after he revealed whatever feelings he had towards her like maybe she couldn't be with the pogues and stand being around him. But ultimately, she came back to the pogues because she was able to push those feelings deep down and pretty much forget about them.
That would make sense, she also was the one who made the no pouge on pouge macking rules and was adamant on it.. cus at the end of the day being friends with them was more important then her kook year.
Or it could have been after she had her kook year and she wasn’t in check with her emotions
I would love them as a couple they will do anything for each other no matter the situation they always will defend each other they always will help each other they would be a great couple for each other
