Dany is an amazing frontwoman. It was a nice surprise to see her on stage with TDG.
It's cool to see how much fun Dany has jumping around on stage. As singer/guitarrist of a three piece she's usually condemned to stand relatively still at her mic.
Dany's stage presence without guitar is incredible. So natural, so confident, vibing with the music perfectly like she was born to this role. Wish they had another Villareal sister to play only guitar, and Dany doing vocals only :)
I wanted to start bitching about their same old setlist, but Matt clearly has been practicing, that's noticeable. A true unit of a singer.

Nah their set list is usually the same and it blows. That's the only thing I don't like about 3DG. I understand they have 17 #1 hits but they pigeonhole themselves playing the same songs in the same order with the exception of 1 or 2 songs. I would love if they played older songs that they never played with Adam or if they delve into the deep cuts from Matt's albums.
Don't forget this is an European festival. They're not that known here, they play afternoon spots. Best they can do is play their hits to hype up again. Maybe their clubshows have more variation?
I think this is one of the greatest Home performances wtih Matt, i like him even if he doesn't sound like Adam

Very unpopular opinion rn and I might get some shitstorm: I really like Adam and his songs. They always give deep meanings and he sings them like a god. But I just LOVE Matt. His Voice is obviously not the same as Adams, but he sings his song good. Not the same, duh, but very good. And if Matt wouldn't be singing old TDG songs they'd also get hated on. I seriously love Matt and his Voice, he sounds amazing live.
To all Haters: ik you miss old TDG but if you wanna listen to the same Voice as it has been, go listen to Saint Asonia.

I think that RAR only recorded the shows of the two bigger stages. I think that because this performance is simply cut out the livestream and Uploaded on CZcams and there was only a livestream for the two bigger stages = no the warning at Rock am Ring concert Shot😔

You can prefer singers politely. I Personally think there's better singers than Chester Bennington, though that doesn't mean I think Chester was a bad singer. Same Here. I Think Matt, while not Adam's level, is skilled in his own way.
Yeah well I mean it’s music, everybody will have a personal preference. Dk why you’re bringing Chester Bennington in here, but he was definitely technique and voice wise one of the most talented. He had a very special tone and his delivery live was 100% always.
He was also EXTREMELY versatile, which shows how great he was. He covered Rolling in the Deep, Highway to Hell, Man in The Box, Wish, My own Summer just to name a few, and almost all of those are from artists with very unique voices and he managed to replicate all of those perfectly whilst still making them his own, imo outshining Chinos Screams and singing Rolling in the deep with way more emotion and passion than Adele.
I have yet to hear one singer cover a linkin park song in an original key and do a good job besides SUM 41 with Mike Shinoda cover of Faint and I think some japanese band also played faint tho it was 2 singers doing Chesters part
