Welcome to Krabi, Thailand! One of my favorite restaurants in Krabi, is Nong Joke (g.page/NongjokeKrabi?share, contact them for curry paste: www.nongjokekrabi.com/), and long standing and one of the best southern Thai food restaurants in Krabi. We know the owner well, and him and his wife are fantastic people. #Krabi #Thailand #veganfood
Anyway, PâJoke started making curry paste to package and sell, and I love his curry paste - mainly for two reasons - itâs all natural with no preservatives, and thereâs no shrimp paste added yet. Normally Southern Thei curries always include shrimp paste. So their curry pastes are perfect for eating and cooking Thai vegan or vegetarian food.
PâJokeâs Mother made a couple dishes for us. The highlight was the coconut milk curry, which was insanely thick and rich and creamy, and incredibly flavorful. An outstanding vegan southern Thai spicy meal in Krabi!

I have lived in Thailand for 13 years. The diet here is what city folks would call macrobiotic. Lotta fresh veg, small cuts of lean meat or tofu, lotta rice. Thai food pyramid is no less than 5 colors of food per day

Hi Mark, can you please list of all the veggies grandma put it in vegetables curry? I noticed some broccoli, pineapple, carrots, baby corn, basil, probably bamboo shoots and green beans, and not sure what else in it. I'm going to try to make it a different brand of curry paste since we won't be able to get their curry paste here in The States.
