@@keritrimble5824 The woman is seriously ill. She needs emergency treatment just as a heart attack patient would. As a trained psych nurse I am concerned about the disparaging remarks people make when they see someone like her. We need to change our attitudes towards mental health and illness and especially open new, more accessible healthcare services for those people. The police, while concerned and mostly competent, are not trained in medical care. They do their best but they are not equipped to manage such situations. Jails are becoming psychiatric wards where the patients do not receive the help they need. We would not take a person having a cardiac emergency to jail; why can we not treat psychiatric patients the same way? The problem is greater than we realize and needs to be addressed.
Most people with mental health problems are fine with living as normal as others.
It's the ones who don't take their meds who give the others a bad name.
I don't think it's just people who need meds. There are people out there who are just egotistical, rude, self-centered and with no personal sense of responsibility or self-discipline.

This would be her 4th arrest for drugs and drug related.chsrges. Why did it get this far?? Had she been made to face those charges after the first arrest perhaps there wouldn't have been a fourth arrest for the exact same charges! At some point the Justice system has to be part of the blame for not holding up to the charges that have been made.. Anyone that has gotten by with a slap on the wrist so many times surely has to think " no big deal" They have been way too laxed and here she is again.. I am anxious to see what her punishment will be this time..

Why is the woman from Monroe being allowed to Stand with hands in pockets? Standard procedure is to make them take their hands out of pockets to insure safety.. being asleep at the wheel and knowing that she has been drinking by her own admission the field sobriety test is a waste of time and should have been set aside. IMO.

She smeared dog poop in his face for saying good morning I would hate to see what she would have done if he asked her how her day was going the poor man would probably ended up in the hospital with a concussion and dog poop all over his face. She seriously needs to get a grip or a life maybe both.

I don't have the answers for the mental health issues, I just know that there needs to be problem solving efforts by qualified experts in this field.

I think the man is most likely to blame in the dog situation. She stated several times she told him to back off and stop engaging with her. Leave women alone when they want to be left alone

How is saying good morning engaging you can just say it back and keep it moving he is an older man who is hard of hearing she thinks just because a man speaks to her they want her when they don't there is a reason she is living where she is leaving because nobody wants to deal with her hence why she has no friends family it isn't everyone around her that's the problem its her notice how she yelled at the older guy who was helping her with her dog when she was being arrested she yelled and treated him like crap and all he was doing was keeping her dog for her and he too has a hard time hearing smh
