Thunder Road: Vendetta is a revved-up restoration of the classic 1986 game of mayhem on the asphalt. Grab your crew, roll your dice, race your cars, shoot your guns, and try not to get wrecked.
This new version features exciting new additions, including random hazard tokens, such as wrecks, oil slicks, and more. Damage isn't merely one and done. Now, you'll draw damage tokens with exciting effects that can send your car careening across the board. You'll also have more choices on your turn, assigning one of your dice to your command board to repair damage, nitro boost, or send out your attack copter to fire away.

It was great to meet Cax and Nato. Super fun gaming.
Yes, we had a blast!
Despite the crazy, random chaos, players in our group often come up with very clever moves that increase their chances of survival and make it much more likely their opponents will slam into a boulder or careen off the road. 😎
@@johnhoslett6732 Oh yeah and of course everyone is recommending you do the thing with the most carnage (that doesn't affect their own cars).
Negative -15,000 Nerd points for the incorrect comment that Car Wars (from Steve Jackson Games) was in a (Games Workshop's) White Dwarf magazine.
Games Workshop had a similar game called Dark Future, which is probably what he was thinking of. That also had a kind of "endless road" model and miniature cars.
@@dotdotdotPaul You are absolutely right, I was thinking about Dark Future. Good thing I had 1,000,000 Need points so I can absorb the loss and still be really nerdy.
Whew!
😯

That was the first board game that ever burned me on Kickstarter took my money and f****** ran paid for the big Edition and everything and all the fancy extra cars seems pretty legit screw them and they're probably most likely trash game
