i think they removed the strings in the background 😭 so its hoshizora orchestra but the orchestra is an afterthought 💀

I think original version sounds like more orchestra, so I like it more than re-release version tbh…

But listening to the rereleased version without the 'orchestra' building up into the pre-choruses are just so, SO wrong for me :"

By itself the rerelease isn’t even that bad, especially considering that it’s the beta version of the song 😭😭 hopefully they’ll change it back, but there will probably be reuploads of the og on spotify so it isn’t a big deal

hoshizora orchestra is my favorite song in the game, and I think this rerelease has removed one of the main reasons I loved it.

got no clue how they fucked this up so badly because its not like they deleted the fully finished version once it was officially released like..
its so obviously an incomplete version especially when we get to the bridge(?) where its so clear that there's something missing (the Orchestra) to it, also with the guitar in the background that you don't hear much at all in the original version
the song is supposed to be grandiose and loud, it is literally orchestral and you dont get any of that in the re-release
one of my friends thinks the rerelease uses the instrumental from the teaser (yknow. from like a year and a half ago when the song wasn’t in the game), which could mean they actually released an unfinished version. this makes me scared for the l/n second album since it’s been privated too…
thats what i suspected too! and im pretty sure leo/need's album is okay. from the songs i heard from the reuploads it seems like they weren't affected

@@weevirn hoshizora orchestra was originally released along "what sort of ending are you wishing for" but since that song got removed, the album of both hoshizora orchestra and that song were removed, so it had to be reuploaded

BOTH ARE GOOD!!! The instrumental is all that changed. The original sounds like its more of a raw/live version while the updated is more polished and not as overwhelming as the previous instrumental
re release is also more quieter, its definitely a mistake
i still have the original version on apple music even though it has the rerelease cover… weird

still cute imo, y'all gotta stop being mad abt the rereleased version. honestly, it's really silly and goofy and a bit calmer, which softens emu's personality a bit (that sounds a bit fine to me). still, both versions are good so it's no use comparing both bangers >:3
The mastering for the instrumental is different. The original was too loud but it gave it a more orchestra feel. While the re-release definitely sounds like a studio official version. I think the original composer either changed the instrumental because they wanted to or were asked to.
The updated version is definitely clear improvement of the original creators work. I honestly prefer the newer version

Thank god of the old lyric videos. I despise the new version it just took out the jazz out of it and made it super boring and made it sound more like a cover than the actual version like bandori who changes the tone of the music according to the singer like Mashiro would be higher key or D4DJ who changes the genre of the song according to the group who is singing it like for Black Shout, they made it more techno and upbeat for Peaky P-aky. But I’m pretty sure they used the instrumental version from the event.

So basically the song "What kind of ending do you want" was made by the band tuyu and the composer became problematic and so the band (tuyu) wanted all their songs gone (covers and etc) so Sega removed it but in order to remove it they have to delete the album (which also had Hozhira orchestra) so after it was deleted Sega released this ver which people wonder if this was on purpose or not cause it sounds very boring and different
And if your curious on the story on why the composer is problematic you can look up "pusu incident" it will tell you what he did:)

the little pause before the first chorus in rerelease gives it a slightly better anticipation so i enjoy it!! original sounds much more regal, and rerelease makes it slightly toned down but i personally emjoy rerelease better :3
