For a 17 year old to have this much range is/was remarkable. It took my breath away when I saw it in the theaters as a 17 year old. Plus he didn't look like a lot of the actors that were popular of the same age. Like he looked warm and relatable. Like he was a tom Holland and Timothy chalamet before they were big.

And if you think the I feel you lines are creepy, I think that just means he sympathizes with her situation and wants to help. Anthony is one of the only 3 actually moral characters in this musical, being him, Johanna even though she kills a guy, and Toby before he goes insane. Poor kid
