Being able to queue BGs from anywhere would be so so nice. As horde, our queues are so long, there's no way I'm waiting in a city that whole time.

PvP trinket is on a 5 min CD.
Sheep/sap, etc still lasts 30 seconds which is multiple times longer than the average fight lasts, and getting hit by a stun in PvP without trinket available means you're dead.
Paladins are able to continue DPS while bubbled. Rogues can kill you in 3 seconds without even going stealth. Pretty much every class has insane burst potential.
I'm decked out in full PvP gear and still get 1 shotted by some classes.
They need to just flat out reduce PvP damage by 50% and reduce the CD on trinket significantly to even begin making it playable.
They have stated they dont want resiliance because they don't want that barrier to pvp participation. i think they should just cut 25% blanket on all damage done by a player, to a player.

Great video. I agree with most of your point regarding abilities 👍 but resilience is a bad idea/fix.
The problem with resilience is that it forces you into a very borring gear path where only pvp gear really works for pvp.., kinda feels bad when there is no overlap between pve and pvp. Pvp specific stats will undoubtedly completely seperate the community 👎

When wotlk classic dropped it wasnt working, but they patched it fast
Honestly at first when I started PvP in SoD I was like "everything does too much damage". We're missing either stamina or another stat for PvP because it's not playable right now. I'm Boomkin druid now, I was restoration but no point, it's a race to oneshot first. People are impossible to heal they get one shot everywhere. I'm level 50 with full new leather gear, almost 3K HP, rogues kill me in 3 globals.

They completely crushed PvP with the runes. Just way too much extra damage with stats we have. I never remember getting absolutely smoked in classic in a few seconds.
Shadowstep dont remove root effects, if you use it when entangled you just get teleported to the enemy but still entangled

Many good ideas, but many of the ideas are something that don't feel classic-like. But anyway something needs to be done to burst meta in pvp. Either give every class runes which boost their survivability or introduce something like resilience. I know many classic players dislike resilience, but I don't see how can we make pvp without anything like it. I find it quite annoying that runes are so damage boost focused and there are barely any good survivability runes.
Yes yes and yes. Like i said i would prefere this one Decrese damage done of enemy abilities and attacks by 7-12 damage would do at little bit of defense next to stamina
Sorry, I have to go by. what should be said about Druid? or Is it just sad that someone kills you relatively easily? Should a druin be a super man that nobody kills? Should we remove the fact that the Druid can't change into bear form in the middle of the battle, pretty uber?

Don't agree with all of the changes you proposed but I agree with the most of them. Another thing that is bothering me is the way they are trying to overcome ratials... giving aliance priests devouring plague and horde priests fear ward..." makes no sense... lore wise, how the fk would aliance priests learn an undead spell?! .... even giving "weapon skill options is nonsense..." the only viable solution imo would be if we could learn from other races from the same faction... for example, as an undead I would love to get Hardiness from orcs, I would grind my way to Honnored with them through quest (or a chain for example) and would be able to learn Hardiness and switch Cannibalize with Hardines... But even here.... idk...

Idnt really care much about racials but idea to go honored or exalted to be able to do same faction racials would be actually very good. Hardiness is insane tbh
Some of these things arent bugs mate theyre unique to vanilla.
For example scatter trap didnt share drs on private servers but it does in classic.
Pets following stealthies has existed even in private server.

fuck resilience we need to keep that out of SOD, SOD isn't about having having perfectly balanced pvp, it's about getting the raid pve gear and then one shotting ppl in pvp with it, all the pve gear should be bis for pvp, small bonuses just make things more complicated, need to keep it as simple as possible, there's a reason why there's no arenas in SOD and why in wotlk everyone was botting/paying for boosts/wintrading
Sod is not a pvp expantion, its classic vanilla + . It has never been about balancing pvp, vanilla is the best mmo out there. So they should not try to make the classes more like retail!
Hey you cant tell me its not about pvp, when you have pvp events, now new pvp gear sets and so on. So it is about pvp and they do tuning in pvp, there was a time when priest SWD dealt like 1k damage 😏

There thefinetely needa to be something beside stamina in gear, seems like everyone has so much damage. Like you said if you increase a heal that doesnt mean they will suvive more lol. Thats PvE. Shadowstep is annoying, rogues have everything..

Uh Did you play when resilience was a thing? It was awful. There's a reason it wasn't in the game long. Those with it always won.
Actually its not true. Yes healers with a lot of resilience couldnt die in wrath in 1v1 against anyone. Arms warr could shred all healers except good Hpala with 1.4k redilience.
In real dueling it depended a lot on matchup. In some matchups reslience absolutely isnt the thing. Rogues are prefered to play under 1k resilience all the time i 1v1 and would burst down 1.5k resilience clothers in a blink of an eye
In wotlk pve gear outscales pvp gear mostly because of very op hc trinkets in endgame

this is dumb just play cata. The reason i quit vanilla wow (which is the base of sod) is it has become just a game of gimmicks and consumes, when everyone has rocket helm and saps you for 30 sec then poly you off etc etc and you die in 2 seconds. it just becomes a game of who has living action potions, who has what on use gimmick and not so much class skills. Anyways thats way too many changes to ask for when yall could just play cata which has all of this :D

You just said you quit vanila because it became war of consumes and then you are mentioning cata which has absolutely nothing with those stupid pvp you can see in classic. If they made all of those changes it would more look like Wotlk which fixed all of these crap mechanics. All of this slow BS pvp mechanics are the reason all are depending on consumes and usable items which i hate the most. Wotlk is FAR FAR better than classic in terms of everything and ofc PVP
