Even though I know nothing about billy zoom. It was great to hear the stories from the 60’s and 70’s and all the legends he has worked with. Can’t wait for part 2.
Dude! Love the show! You have inspired me to build a tiki hideaway on my patio.. Spending way too much money stocking my bar for tiki drinks. If you are ever in Ventura area hit me up! I am also a car guy. Rebuilding a 64 Fairlane right now.. Cheers!
Spike: Don’t you like corks? Billy: This isn’t a cork it’s plastic Spike: Don’t you like corks? Billy: I like sounds! Like the sound of Spikes heart breaking to a million cork loving pieces. Note next guest must like corks to be on the show.
The Hula Girls it’s just your thing I bet your Mum would like to have known earlier, what will I get young Matthew for Christmas, I know a cork and bottle for hours of fun. The first time your Mum said Matthew I thought it was someone off camera.
Billy Zoom is criminally underrated. He's such a phenomenal ax man. Great stage presence and dry sense of humor. Had the pleasure of meeting him at Denny's down the street from my house in San Diego, the morning after their show the night before. Matter of fact, i met DJ and Exene too! The time of my life! By the way, Billy is BASED. He doesn't like Neil Young for the same reasons I don't like him.
It was Bob Hanson & Annie.(Pinball Annie) Not “Candy.” (Candy was Chuck Berry’s girlfriend. She was a hula hoop champion. Mississippian as best I recall? I’m a big fan of Victor Davis Hanson who looks so much like Bob Hanson. Both from Northern California and both brilliant History teachers. I miss Bob. Miss you too, Billy. BTW, it was your waitress girlfriend who painted the leather jacket silver. You’re welcome. ;-)
What a great show, man, Billy Zoom! Big time! What a cool cat! Of course he's Billy Zoom! I think he really likes that drink. Did he really fix your amp?
Matt Strickland 🤷🏻♂️ they were picked an hour before recording, from trees at my home... so I think maybe I was referring to the flavors from the pot still black rum.
X is possibly the most unique band that has ever existed
I wholly agree.
Billy Zoom, solid score. I can't believe how 'Johnny Ramone' he is. Total sweetheart...hahaha.
My favorite Tiki drink and one of my favorite guitarists at the same time?!? Awesome.

Billy Zoom wearing a shirt with himself on it. Nice!
Awesome 🫡
On the stairs I smoke a cigarette alone,
Mexican kids out shootin' fireworks below
And heeeeeyyyyyyyy baby, it's the Fourth of Julyyyyyy
Mr. Zoom is a legend. It so weird, he looks just like an uncle of mine. I'd drink that drink. Looks good. 👍 20:32 Manny's Music

Great show. Tiki cocktails y punk rock chat: right down my alley.

Ha! I'd guessed either him or John Doe just from the description in the last video.
Love Billy. Opened for X in 2002 in Houston and he was very cool. Biggest revelation was his comments on Van Halen. Who'd have thought?
Amazing!! This was one of my favorites and probably the one that made me laugh the most. 😂 can’t wait for part 2! 💞
Larissa R. Hahaha... thank you ☺️
Deadpan Giant Delivers The Chill

I also wasn’t married to Lana Turner but lots were.
Billy Zooooom!
To borrow a phrase from the host,....”so Rad”! Thanks, Matt.
Nick Morton 😂

Hey, Billy!
6:45 if its ceramic 99% chance it's made by Kyocera and that would make it a Japanese knife.
So awesome I am assuming you had no idea where this would go.
Mike Penhall yeah, he was hard to keep control of 😂
I don’t know why it’s coming as a surprise Billy Zoom got older.
Legendary statement, “if I was drinking vodka from a glass I’d be drunk by now.”
hahahahaha....
Good looking Ice! Sonic Drive in?
Sean Stephens yep 👍
There are a lot of Sean Stephens out there, but I’m hoping this my nephew. It’d make me think I was a good influence.
He did not expect the taste of the drink
Juan Hernandez certainly not 😂
If it tastes skunky it’s probably a bad lime or grapefruit

Sam Ash is that the story
mod af
This is painful to watch. The interviewer is disrespectful and not funny.
