Me again,Everytime I watch this Short video I am amazed.I wonder if the crab is aware that she looks absolutely delicious.More so because of the nudity.It can't be stressing her out too much because that is quite a clutch of roe in very healthy condition.(Visually anyways)I would love to see a set up where there were a group of crabs all in glass shells and see if the interactions were changed.While it would not be a "Natural" set up it might give some insight on how they think. And I can hear you all,,,If they even think!
I thinl that valuable information can be observed from this practice but there is a part of me that wonders if what is gained is worth what is lost.I'm sure the crab does not think so.And I'll probably get trashed for saying this but it seems a bit abusive.Anyone got thoughts on that??
the crab was forced into this glass shell. they probably cracked the her original shell and left her naked with no other options. there is no way in hell a hermit crab would pick a glass shell
