Phones, they cost 100 dollars to make and cost 10x as much, and they break so easily anyways, not to mention they’re mass produced in factories in Asia. Its not that cheap to be a professional BUT its really cheap to get into fboarding. Just buy a tech deck and a foam tape and the last thing is bearing wheels
At tech deck was like $3 back when they came out and I'm not sure why you would need any better quality than them I never wore out grip tape or anything they last years unless you step on them
essentially in the fingerboarding world, tech deck is a walmart/ target board, where as an actual fingerboard is a miniature replica, actual plys of wood, pop and trucks that actually work. also, not sandpaper for griptape. its logical for an actual skateboard because shoes grip to that material, so tech decks grip tape is awful. Real fingerboards have a foam type of griptape so which creates more grip for the texture of skin, being your fingers.
I just recently got into Fingerboarding (Although I have always collected boxed versions of the THPS Tech Decks & Rare tech decks in general) but keep doin ya thing, whether I’m chillin at work or late at night I’ve found you, David Jones & Sam Tabor have some really entertaining shit! I’m also glad to find another hobby I can blow a shit ton of money on again (I’ve pretty much finished my Dreamcast collection & Lara Croft collection) so good to be back on my eBay/Mercari game again! 💯💯

If your looking for tape then I highly recommend some BDF it’s super thin and really soft and grippy, it’s , my go to and it’s even better than fish fur and my forever go to to, I promise you will love it👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
