South Korean language is the easiest way to distinguish it from other Asian counties. Their text has circles, while Japan/Taiwan/China do not.

Big T chinese is more boxy (there is also maybe a Japanese dialectic that throughs me off), so that narrows it to hong kong and taiwan , Hong Kong is very mountainy and watery, Korean is circley, and Japanese is more curvy
Here's a second 'Day 1' tip for Asia: Japan low-cam. The camera in Japan is lower than most countries (Switzerland has it too) for privacy law reasons. I guess the idea is that the camera can't see over fences or in windows or something. Anyway, once you get an eye for it, you immediately know when it's Japan or Switzerland.

Bro you gotta look up the difference in Chinese, Korean and Japanese. China has its own alphabet known as Han/Hanzi, Japanese has it too (They called it Kanji), but also has hiragana/katakana, with much more simplified symbols. Then Korean (Hangul) is entirely different and more blocky looking with straight lines and little o’s.

You gotta start zooming in to be more precise on your guesses. Guys are beating you even when you're only a few miles off because you're just sticking your guess on the city name. Get it all the way down to the street you're on if possible. Be precise with it.
really should take a quiz on flags. think it’d be comedy and would eventually get u to learn them. could also break em apart and do european country flags, asian country flags, etc. (think another youtuber called JackSucksAtGeography does something similar)
