This was a great episode. It showed three of Korea's biggest problems in their society. Being blind to the behind the scenes of stardom, men's possessive behavior, and the obsession with body weight.
I really enjoyed this episode too! really insightful of korea's society issues.
I get angry anytime I listen to that kind of problems .. although I love kpop and korea but I think they are too obsessed with beauty In general.. they only care about visual no matter if you are an idol or not but surely being an idol is the hardest one... its really sad so I agree with you

I am one of the fans who took to shielding Peniel from the hateful comments about his hair, mostly cause I knew what was happening. even though he isn't my bias for these past two years of knowing BTOB he's become like a big brother and I seriously remember crying. like SOBBING, when the teasers for their new comeback came out. I was so happy.

BTOB in general is a really open group, the members aren't really afraid to speak their minds and their all 4D it's a group of 7-4D men who grew up together and are super close,
You probably will not like all their songs, I don't, but still I think a groups best qualities shine when the mics are lowered

Sioben - Correcting myself I want to say that some people we insensitive, not necessarily hateful. Like the comment jokes about his lack of hair or asking him relentlessly to take off his cap over and over. It was obviously a topic he didn't feel confident talking about that that time but mindless comments still flooded in.

I just hope the fans realize that its a genetic condition and that there's really nothing he can do about. So, I hope they keep supporting him ^_~

Sophia Diassuom for my case, i've talked to the dermatologist and we're working on maintaining what I have, but growing new hair is not really a thing. They can really only try and keep what you have.

I know agencies have to spend a lot of money to make an idol group or to have the debut. I wish they could treat them all well, like compliment when they work hard or should at least pay. Sad when they talk about it and Eunwoo just look down on the floor as he nods because he felt understood.

I have so much respect for Peniel talking about his hair loss like that. I know many people who dealt with hair loss but it was only once they stopped stressing about it, that their hair showed signs of growing back. Anyway regardless of whether his hair grows back or not he is still handsome inside and out

It's crazy how some people in S.Korea won't see real counselors (I heard it was taboo and it affects their jobs) but would come on international television to speak on their problems. I'm half-Arab and it's like that here but things are improving albeit at a slow pace. This is how it is for us Asians, our society needs to be more open and understanding to mental issues.
ikr! Whenever someone suggests seeing a counseollor or a therapist, most people would immediately assume you're "crazy" and begin to view you differently and usually, negatively. We really need to be more open-minded.

The last girl doesn't have anorexia but bulimia. Anorexia is a mental issue where the patient looks at their reflection and sees a fat person but bulimia is when you eat and throw up. Bulimia patients also have the added risk of ulcers and even the trachea gets burns and sores and can even get holes from all the acid that comes with womitting too often. This girl needs medial help stat!!! She needs counseling from a psychiatrist stat. I pray she gets help.

Arya K my grandmother had anorexia and like I said its more a mental issue than physical but because they don't see their body as it really is they become emaciated and won't eat. Bulimia is the binge and purge eating. I have a degree in psychology and did my thesis on eating disorders so trust me I know what I am talking about. I think she might have both though as that can happen.
It definitely sounds like she has bulimia. Hopefully her friend makes her see a doctor and doesn't rely on her empty promises.

When minhyuk said that not every idol group is earning money or doing that much it breaks my heart. At that time eun woo also kept on lowering his head. Peeple needs to appreciate the talents equally. Every idol is working hard it's not easy to debut as an idol. Same as the talents in other fields everyone is working hard to achieve something in their life. Hope btob & astro well get what they deserved for.
I really like this show, i can see how the hosts care about people, but it is also necessary to add a psychologist to their panel, i have seen many eps and some of their cases really needs to get professional aid. Hope the girl from the last case get some real help. Korea sociaty need to understand that having help from a psichologist isnt bad at all, a lot of people may be sufering and not having help just because they are afraid of gossips and what people may think about them. 1. Peniel is beyond precious & beautiful. He is fearfully and wonderfully made, I pray he stays strong.
2. This show fails at one thing: taking serious issues seriously. They've had on children complaining about being molested, spouses complaining about domestic abuse, people complaining about their alcoholic friends, and now people complaining about their friends literally dying of bulimia. DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE. DON'T EXPLOIT SERIOUS, LIFE-OR-DEATH ISSUES FOR RATINGS. GET A CONSCIENCE. One day there will be a scandal where a guest dies or commits suicide, then the show will be canceled.
Eun Woo is really handsome but I think he will be more when his talent, hard work is more appreciated. He is really such a HARDWORKING ANGEL.

Peniel, I was introduced to BTOB through this episode because of your bravery to come on the show. And I’ve fallen inlove with all 7 of you since. So, you’ve done your part right there in my opinion.
I remember in one of Peniel's vlog he mentioned how some fans dislike him shaving but he said oh well. Well it was more like, "I know some of you might hate me for this. *Turns on a razor." The way he said it was adorable but kind of sad :c

Agreed... He is mentally abusing her by restraining her freedom and ostracizing her from her entourage... If I had one advise for this poor lady it would be to leave the marriage before the mental abuse turns physical... He seems like a sociopath to me honestly he has all the characteristics: not much emotions shown on his face, being manipulative by always pretending that he loves his wife, being bored easily... Out of all the concerns the second one was the saddest in all honesty. It broke my heart when she says that she has no friend to bring to hello counselor.

TBH I think he has alopecia areata. As someone who has had, and is still having, hair loss in my teens, I can say that he shows similar conditions as to the ones that I have. Though, the cause for alopecia is unknown...

i know about all the idols issues because my fav talk about that, i know it's difficult being an idol and also they don't gain a lot of money even when their work their asses the whole year, i know all of that, but i'm crying so bad right now T_T because even when i'm not a stan i always see BTOB like one of the most talented and funny groups, listening them talking about their concerns, make my heart hurts a lot, Peniel is so brave, i admire him, i always thought about what they said, he don't have a lot of activities as the others, even when they are together he didn't talk a lot, he also (before IWYM) he didn't get a lot of lines in their songs, i hope he could be more confident, i like him without hat, he's such a beautiful human being T_T
i want to kick the husband in the second concern, okay i understand some people can be jealousy (i am) but he's just so... obssesive, for what i see, the wife don't look like she can't do something, he even delete her friends numbers, what's wrong with him ¬¬ he can't even find a job, i understand some girls made him some horrible things, but they are not his wife! i wanted someone asked her if he was like that when they were dating, because if he was, then she don't have any reason to feel pity for her
i wanted to comment about every concern but, i find so unnecessary talk about the last girl because already everyone know what she has, i really hope she can realized and stop, what she's doing can really affects her health,

Like these hosts have literally said multiple times that they aren't medical professionals, they're TV HOSTS. It's not like they can do much if someone had an eating disorder except for just saying "hey, don't do that."

it's not like everyone treating her bad or anything. she is surrounded by her good friends but if she chose to believe in the negativity then thats her problem. no one can do anything about it. she's old enough to understand what was wrong with her health and that it could get serious.
i am hungry this isn't about how the hosts treated her....this is about her being on some talk show instead of an actual hospital getting real medical help for having a very serious and real eating disorder.

The talk about idol life hurt me so much. I teared up because I DON'T KNOW THEM but I know they suffer a lot. :( I care a lot about my faves and the ones that aren't my faves. They are humans, they have feelings too. I just want to hug ALL idols and tell them they mean a lot and everybody is proud of them. 💔😞
