    I think I just might like to buy one. After all, the design has the Ash Seal of Approval.

    Looks really good, IMO it'd just need a bit of weathering and it would look perfect

      Thanks! I need to make it out of regular bronze or brass for some good weathering, aluminum-bronze is notorious for not liking to tarnish. 😉

    The question is how big can you make them. Most places they sell stuff like this but only up to 40-50 cm tall. I think bigger sizes would sell at a premium as it's harder to come by.

    Wow, got a 3D printer in your studio! Is it printing upside down?

    • @SculptyWorks

      It's a resin printer, they do print 'upside-down'. 😊

    But what is the correct way you mentioned at around 6:30??

    • @SculptyWorks
      @SculptyWorks  Před 21 dnem

      The 'correct way' would be with a sprue and risers, with feeders shaped to reduce turbulence. 😉

      @@SculptyWorks Can you make a video of this? Because I don't really understand what you mean... I'm new and would really like to start with this kind of art, watched all of your vids and would like to learn it from you only haha

      @@samvandillen I'm a little behind on my to-do list of videos so I have no idea when I could make one about this, but another CZcamsr, @swdweeb has some excellent videos on casting metals, where he goes in depth on how to make good molds.

      He can get a bit chatty, but has some solid ideas about casting. 😉
