I agree, in my eyes the deck just sucks, but I want to point out, that a guy has won back to back Paupergeddons (which is the biggest pauper tournament circuit there is) with altar tron
Altar tron is good in paper, not a good on MTGO, as most of the lines you need to do require hundreds of clicks worth of looping, when a deck requires you to do somthing manually you can can say in paper” I represent this loop, do you respond?” It’s not great to play online. The only decks that required even close to the same amount of clicked are Fams and poison Storm.
You might want to have another read at Klark-Clan Shaman. It does not matter in there is x/1s if they fly. It can literally interact with 8 creatures in their deck and getting rid of them especially after they have drawn a card by card disadvantage vie Shaman is definitly not a winning strategy.
@@ClubbingSealCub Those creatures are easier to deal for this deck to begin with since they can be blocked. They are not the most important in this matchup. While you are dealing with a 2 mana 2-1 that already drew a card and probably scryed 2 (or drew another card) by spending more mana (because even though they artifacts you are sacking probably drew a card they cost mana), taking damage from flyers and sacking your progress is a losing strategy. There is no "saccing artifacts you were going to sac anyway", they cost mana and therefore tempo. You can see from the games even if he drew the shaman it would have done nothing to save the game.
