Stoke has developed some great talents over the years, and a country that currently has quite a few up and comers is Canada. In fact, 4 players have been recently rumoured with moves to bigger clubs, including the incredibly in form partnership of Derek Cornelius and Moise Bombito. Using these talents and most likely the youth academy, you can turn Canada into the greatest footballing nation in the world!

If I'm not mistaken, you also support Stoke City, Goodwin. Since relegation from the Premier League in 2018, the club has never finished in the top half of the Championship.
Stoke City have suffered relegation from the 2nd tier to the 3rd tier a few times in their history. One particular was in the 1997/98 season when it was called Division 1. It was a bonker season. To make this clear, below the top division of English football, if there were teams tied on points in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th tier, the first tiebreaker was number of goals scored instead of goal difference (from 1992/93 to 1998/99). On the final day, Stoke City faced Manchester City at home (22nd vs 23rd), the weird thing is, even the winner of that game could still get relegated but equally, they could both survive if they drew and other results went their way. The game ended 5-2 to Manchester City. However, due to Portsmouth beating Bradford City 3-1 away and Port Vale beating Huddersfield Town 4-0 away, the Citizens also got relegated along with Stoke City and bottom side Reading.

The 2022/23 season was the first that I made predictions for the EFL leagues. I predicted Stoke to finish 18th in the Championship, they finished 16th. The following season, I predicted 18th, they finished 17th. Maybe if I predict 18th for Stoke again, I might get it spot on.
The 2023/24 season in the Championship was a mad season that you need a lot of points to avoid relegation.
