This is the video I NEEDED!!! I love my red hair and yes...I used the Loreal Hilift color red to achieve it. I love it....BUT! I really did forget how much maintenance it takes to keep the vibrancy....yet I keep going back smh... Anyways I stumbled upon your video after looking up dying hair from red to blonde and yours was the first video that came up for girls with natural curly hair like me...and this video hit ALL points I was worried about. I was told that once I go red that there's no possible way for me to achieve any other color..so thanks for giving me hope! Hopefully once I try the color oops I can achieve your final color if not lighter!

You are a life saver. Ive just dyed my hair from black to what's supposed to be coopery Auburn. But came out Burgundy. Hopefully this will get me to more copper color.

it pulls black out, but youll be left with a green tint usually.. go with a dark red semi. i dont mean to sound like a smartass but the color wheel will help out.

It may not have worked as much because it was too cold. I always take a warm hair dryer to make sure it doesn’t get cold. It won’t work well if your a/c has it cold in the house etc.
Can I use this on my dyed red hair to get brown even though I didn’t use bleach to achieve the red it’s just my natural hair underneath?

Just so you know....color oops is a bleach wash. So technically, you did bleach your hair by using that
I used color oops to remove my red hair it turned my hair a dark green had to use sulfate shampoo and baking soda to remove the green but my hair was bleached

My hair color is pinkish burgundy. I wanted a ginger orange. It was bleached too. Not sure how long should I wait to get it colored again to the ginger orange.
When you washed it out did you get a lot of bleeding from the red.
My hair is currently the same red color as yours was, but I didn’t lighten my hair first. I used the L’Oréal hi color magenta and red, to get this color. If I use color oops, will it change my hair back black, or will it give a color similar to your after color?

My hair is dark brown but I have this orange in my hair. If I was to use that oops hair dye remover will it make my hair brown again and remove the orange hair dye or will it turn my hair to a different color because that brown color doesn’t match your roots and I thought when you use that hair color remover that I’ll bring it back to your route color
it cant bring your hair back to the root color it only removes the dye. it’ll probably turn to like a blondish orange color if you use it
I used this product and it left the horrible chemical smell in my hair . Even after shampooing (5 times) and deep conditioning the smell is still there .

Charlotte Mandy neither. You need to bleach your hair a little bit then put a dye. Color oops is to remove dye.

Thanks for this! I used some red garnier, twice on my hair last year. Ready to get it changed! Have about the same amount of roots as you and wasn't looking to use bleach and end up with 3 different tones lol. I'm just not sure what shade I'll end up with after the rinse, do you think if you did a 2nd removal application it would match your root shade?
No because my root shade is my virgin color, the removal color is this shade cause my hair was lightened during the coloring process.

+Kamaron Lacy oh okay! Neither was I btw, I'm just going off of what's on the box.
Kamaron Lacy Color oops is not bleach. It uses a chemical called sodium hydrosulfite to shrink the color molecules allowing for them to easily be washed out of the hair follicle. Bleach, on the other hand, just removes/strips pigment. The two are completely different processes... Although, this product does not contain bleach, it can cause some damage to the hair either through the sulfite in it which can dry the hair out or through the many washing processes that you are required to do in order to help wash the color out. But, again, Color Oops does NOT contain bleach. Just wanted to clear this up because I don't want anyone to be misinformed.
