The eyes have it on this one. I enjoy the way you paint. There is whimsy and a romantic lilt to your finished work that enchants. Thank you, Rachel. I've been painting faces in watercolor for years putting the pupil in first I see my error.
Sometimes I'll paint the pupil first too, it just depends on the look I'm going for. Sometimes when you paint over a dark, it softens it up a little bit and looks nice.
@@rachelsstudiodotcom when you do I hope you will demo it. I paint very loose and keeping the eye is problem area. for the 2 pieces currently in WIP I am going to try putting pupil in last
