- Spelling is hard! Y'all know, I struggle with making words come out of my mouth correctly. But you know what's even harder? Spelling them!
Which is why I'm giving it up and challenging two contestants to an adult spelling bee. My special guest, Ryan Davis, joins me as a commentator on how this foolishness goes down. These two brave souls will have to endure 5 rounds of spelling-each round harder than the next-and Maye is here to keep score and judge harshly.

I like the 2nd original version of spelling is hard with the stage and thangs….. this version with two random spellers, is a cool difference. I would suggest maybe other (known and unknown) comedians going against each other? But I like to see the changes. I like to see what’s going to happen with this particular series.

Me three. I get that Tahir is in his businessman bag by trying to make this show look as appealing as possible in efforts to shop it around to networks, but this just isn't the move. We watch for Tahir, his guest, and Maya. Truly, everything else is a pound of salt on an already perfectly-seasoned meal, IMO.

I like the new format but the contestants need to be thoroughly vetted. They aren't "comedians" so this isn't their time for 15 minutes of fame, it makes it difficult to watch.
