1 of my aunts back in my native DC had the Greatest Hits LP that included this very song as the 1st track, thus my 1st exposure in the 70's. I myself was allowed to play that record many times before CD'S became a big deal. I turned 11yrs old the year Karen Carpenter passed away but didn't get the memo until High School from watching a VHS of her. She was my Dad's age so she could still be alive today otherwise. Who knows what else she could do if she could stick around a little longer. Playing this on my smartphone Tues 12-12-23, I've only just begun in a new residence & now preparing for my 1st 😴 here. 😭RIP Karen Carpenter.
