kudos to the duo, who do not compromise art to get cheap applause, they sing with deep emotion and immersed in devotion to their art, watch their hamirkalyani piece, as a proof. A rare breed indeed, unlike the Abhishek Ragurams of this day who hit sixers to play to the gallery.

The song "Sri Ranganathar" was sung by them at a concert in Parthasarathy Swami Sabha in Dec. 2013 which I attended. That was my second Priya sisters' concert. I have attended their concerts thrice in all, in the same hall !

In the first kruthi, it is not "ranga sai" it is "rangashaayi" meaning sleeping ranga. Difference between Sa and Sha
Which Krithi is the following telugu verses that was sung before "Saku Saku-"Kanakadasa krithi,
"ఘన మృదంగ వీణా వేణు వాద్యములు
రసికులు హాయిగా వాయింప బుధులు
వేదముల చే కొనియాడ వైష్ణవోత్తములు
ప్రభందముల పాడ పరమాద్భుతమైన "
Every time I see I feel like praising. Both voices are excellent. SP (my favorite) has a slight upward ringing voice and HP has slight down ward ringing voice. Mridungist should also have some control on the force so that the voice is held in the higher position.
It is good when you sing Telugu songs. Eventhough I don't understand.🤪

The one on your left (i.e. closer to the Mridanga vidwan) is Hari Priya.
Hari Priya is the one who answers the most of the listeners' questions, and is on our left.
SAI Giridhar doesn't have any BHAKTHI to be a Mrudangist. 👆
This is the worst mrudangist I have seen with my favouritre Priyas. He is using mrudangam like when it is used in Battle field for Devi's against Asuras/Rakshasa. I think he looks like the latter. Pls use mrudangam softlu and let us hear thesahityam what you (mrudangist) is accomapnying. They are the queens and you are only for their assist. the bhavas first come through their voice whether it is Bhakthi, or their own fell as the deity whom they are praising. Please you (mrudangist) dont jump the fence they are creating. You have to respect their manadharma and play
