Pastor, I have found over time, that those hard times only serve to draw us nearer to God, or sometimes hard times are to keep us focused on the Prize of our high calling and not on what is going on in the world's troubling times ahead. It could be even a preparation for persecutions ahead that will come to us believers sooner or later. I have failed many of these tests, so I know I have to pray more about my weaknesses, am so glad the Lord shows me where I have gone off the rail, so to speak. He never fails me, but I have failed Him, so those hard times allow me to know that I am only strong when I remain in Him, in the beloved, in His Spirit so the challenges of life, will be less of an ordeal. One thing, our suffering will never be so great as His was for us. Thank you Pastor , for the message today, God bless the body of Christ, make us bold in the Lord to share the Gospel of Christ with the world.

My neighbors probably wonder what is going on in my apartment sometimes when I let out with and extremely loud - HAAAhahahaha! (I live in a senior high-rise apartment complex). I'm so glad that you are not afraid to talk about things that are relevant and personal. 😊 I struggle with prayer...not that I can't pray...or don't pray...I talk with the Lord throughout the day...every day. But there are times when I don't know what to pray beyond what I already do. I want my prayers to be effective and pertinent. But there are times when all I can pray is that the Lord's WILL be done in ALL things. 🙏 Because, I see people around me 'crying out' for a Savior, yet heading the wrong way. 😞 Even people around me, my family and friends say I'm too spiritual...they don't want to 'hear about Jesus'...they 'don't have time right now'. They call me a 'Bible thumper' when I happen to speak His name...or offer to pray...or when I feel led to speak about Jesus.... I feel like I have no one left where I am at,...my family and friends pulled away...my kids aren't interested. But are we not supposed to talk about Salvation and the love of Jesus...especially now, when we are in the end times???... 😬 All those people I thought were people of God, many are my family (I always thought my family was a family of prayer warriors)...I though were spirit filled...but they are not. Most of them anyway. 😢 The Lord pulled me out of oppression several months ago and completely transformed me...Praise God!!! 🙌 My eyes are opened, He has given me clarity, and they are pulling farther and farther away from God...pacified by technology...entertainment...vacations...toys. It tears me up to see this and that I cannot do anything to help them except pray. So in my prayers I cry out for them...and literally cry...all the time. I'm not depressed but saddened by their cavalier attitude and the lack of interest. They aren't interested in seeing what is coming. 😢 Just because they turn away...bury their heads in the sand doesn't mean it won't happen...but it may be too late if they don't wake up. 😬 Please pray for me to stay strong through all of this...Spiritual Warfare is exhausting!!! 😖 Funny things is...I have always struggled to grasp the importance of the Psalms...but your study on them has helped abundantly. Especially today...I just sat and cried...drives me nuts to be so emotional lol. Thank you for all you do! Praise God for using people like you to speak His word to people like me❤🙌
We tried "cry it out" with our oldest one time and he didn't forgive us. He was miserable the whole rest of the day. ha ha But our youngest we ended up doing that because she would have had us hold her and soothe her 24/7 which was not physically possible for us. We had to sleep at some point. And when we watched the clock we realized she would cry on and off --with more 'off' near the end -- only for 5 minutes before falling asleep. She still needed to be held almost all the time during the day but she would then at least fall asleep on her own. And you learn their cries -- when they truly need you and when they are bored or protesting something that is good for them (ie sleep). It really is a good image of our relationship with God. He's not going to answer every tantrum and He disciplines those He loves for our good (you can be whiny for a few minutes before getting your much-needed sleep) but when you are truly distraught He is there to comfort. Even when we don't deserve it. We are fully dependent on Him.
Just watched this and thought it was yesterday Thursday message 😂 I'm so sick with a cold and I reckon it shows... Lol:) This was a good message tho and now I go get the acurate one up to date ! Praise God for true men of God!!!

I love these Thursday night Bible studies. Thank you and your church for sharing them with us. Regarding Bono, I'm concerned for him that he hasn't deceived the church nearly as much as he has deceived himself. I pray that he turns to Jesus. I was very disappointed recently when he and his band encouraged Irish voters to vote for abortion on demand in their country. I had heard since the 1980's that they were Christians and this didn't fit at all. I had not followed this band so I wasn't aware of some of the other things. Very sad.
and Jesus went beyond the cleanse ...of the "ten lepers" to the one with the thankful heart! All were cleansed, but the one who came back with a THANKFUL heart was the only one who Jesus said, "Arise [to] and go thy way: thy faith has made thee whole" Ten cleansed, one cleansed AND made whole!
God's perfect will that all people be saved from sin and be in perfect health he wants his will be done on earth as it is in Heaven . there is no sickness and no poverty in Heaven

If he & his hordes are not laughing, enticing or manipulating & perpetuating evil then they are attacking with sickness, diseases and illnesses. Yes, I pray our journey will be soon over. Good morning...Listening from Michigan (while on vacation), I'm visiting my daughter and grand daughter and seriously considering moving here from Glendale California.
Betty DeMars ...maybe it's better for us to be annihilated here to be immediately out of here and present with our merciful compassionate God. My biggest problem is my now former- husband who says "no" to everything. And once again he's knocking this idea. We are older in our 50s/60s raising a 7 year old that God blessed us with in our late years 😓🤧 but he is impossible and I believe I'm stuck here. My oldest daughter lives there with my grand daughter ( she is not his daughter). I regret to this day marrying him 20 years ago.

Around 45 min in, I too have experienced that devilish voice laughing .. Praise Jesus for confirmation that Im not alone in that. Amen
