My kid just asked me today evening, why in Russia people care about kids more, than in Germany. It was in the context, that emergency is not coming usually if something like high fever etc. happens with small kids and parents have to wait in emergency rooms sometimes 6 and more hours.
am Russian and I can say that medical care is provided very quickly and for free. A week ago, my dad had a hemorrhagic stroke and he got a complex brain surgery at the best neurosurgery clinic for free! my dad is not even employed and has only compulsory medical insurance. the ambulance will come even if you just have a panic attack
