just the angle, it is the same!
It only looks so high because it was filmed with super wide angle (probably GoPro).
With a super wide angle, everything looks like super far away.

I used to live here in my early 20s and did this shit all the time...along with surfing, scuba, free diving, wind surfing, skim boarding, capoeira, tennis, cycling, dug out canoe ocean rowing, writing poetry and chilling on the beach. I miss these days of course but have settled into a great life somewhere far far away.

that jump looks high for some reason in that first shotat 0:16 , but its not.
Katsu LA It looks high because it really is high. Every cliff looks better from the bottom than looking down from the top. That is the same here to some extent but it is still one huge fall to risk landing badly or on something.
